Rules

1. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and members of their immediate families and households are not eligible to participate. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law. The prize may not be awarded where prohibited by law, and winner is solely responsible for ensuring that receipt, possession, and use of the prize complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations in the winner’s jurisdiction.  

2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, entrants agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules, and represent and warrant that they meet all eligibility requirements. In addition, entrants agree to accept the decisions of the Sponsor as final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

3. Entry Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on the published start date and ending on the published end date (the “Sweepstakes Period”). All entries must be received by the specified end date and time. All times are based on Sponsor’s local time zone (Pacific Time).

4. How to Enter: The Sweepstakes must be entered by submitting an entry using the designated online form. The entry must fulfill all requirements as specified to be eligible. Incomplete or non-compliant entries may be disqualified at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Entrants may enter only once. Any attempt to circumvent these rules may result in disqualification.

5. Prizes: The winner(s) will receive the prize(s) described in the promotional materials. The approximate retail value (ARV) of each prize will be disclosed. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at the Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is non-transferable. All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and surcharges associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. By accepting the prize, the winner grants the Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes in any media, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. The prize is a sharp instrument and must be used with care. By accepting the prize, winner acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with the receipt, possession, and use of the prize, and agrees to use the prize safely, responsibly, and in compliance with all applicable laws. Sponsor shall not be responsible or liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize. 

6. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Selection and Notification: Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of the Sponsor. Winner(s) will be notified via the email address provided in their entry within five (5) days of selection. The Sponsor shall have no liability for winner notification not received due to spam, junk mail settings, or incorrect/incomplete contact information. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within fifteen (15) days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return any required documentation, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. Any prize forfeited under these Official Rules will not be awarded.

8. Terms: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes should any virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond the Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, the Sponsor may select the winner(s) from all eligible entries received prior to or after the action taken. Sponsor will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including any registration or bonding requirements, where required. 

9. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, by entering, participants release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, or technical failures of any kind. Winner acknowledges that the prize is a sharp instrument and agrees to use it safely, responsibly, and in compliance with all applicable laws. Sponsor is not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss arising from improper or unsafe use.

10. Privacy Policy: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Sponsor’s website. By entering the Sweepstakes and submitting an email address, participants expressly consent to receive marketing and promotional emails from the Sponsor, including future product announcements, promotions, and brand communications. Participants may opt out of receiving marketing emails at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in such emails. Information will be used and shared in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

11. Winners List: To obtain a copy of the winner(s) list or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Buck Knives, Sweepstakes Administrator, 660 S Lochsa St, Post Falls, ID 83854. Requests must be received within sixty (60) days after the Sweepstakes Period ends.

12. Governing Law: The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without respect to its conflict of law principles. All disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Kootenai County, Idaho.
