Official Rules

No purchase necessary to enter or win; a purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

SPONSOR:  This Contest is sponsored by Iredale Cosmetics, Inc.‎ (“Sponsor”) with offices located at 50 Church Street, Great Barrington, Massachusetts‎ 01230.

ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open to individuals who are legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older at the time of entry who are physically residing in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. This Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

Current and former employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, their agents; affiliates; distributors; sales representatives; retailers; partners; subsidiaries; advertising and promotional agencies; those involved in the production, development, implementation or handling of the Contest and members of their immediate family (spouses, children, siblings, parents and grandparents) and persons living in the same household as such persons are ineligible to enter the Contest or win a prize.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period (defined below), go to janeiredale.com/contest and complete the form on that page by entering your email address and your Instagram handle and submitting the form. After submitting the form, one entry can be added for visiting @janeiredale on Facebook, one entry can be added for visiting @janeiredale on Instagram, one entry can be added for subscribing to @janeiredale on YouTube and one entry can be added for referring your friends on social media.

Entry is limited to one per person. Any attempt by any contestant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple or different identities or email addresses or by any other method shall void that contestant’s entries, and that contestant may be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

No methods of entry other than the method specified herein will be accepted. Entries without complete information and/or not received prior to the end of the Contest Period will not be eligible.

CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest begins on March 10, 2025 and all entries must be completed and submitted by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on March  16, 2025 (the “Contest Period”).

JUDGING: At the close of the Contest Period, all eligible entries will be entered into a random drawing, three (3) winners will be selected.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winning contestants will be notified on or about March 17, 2025 via direct social media message. Winning contestants will be required to respond (as directed) to the message within the time period specified in the notification. The failure to respond timely to the notification may result in forfeiture of the prize; and, in such case, Sponsor may choose another winner from among the remaining eligible Contest entries. The winning contestants may be sent an affidavit of eligibility/liability and publicity release (the “Release”). The winning contestants will be required to complete and return the Release within the time period specified therein. The winning contestants shall allow Sponsor to use her/his name, likeness, voice and/or biographical data for marketing purposes without limitation and without additional notice, compensation, or consent. Winning contestants may also be required to provide her/his name, birth date, current address and phone number. As a condition of receiving a prize, winning contestants shall grant the license to use the submission described in “Use of Winning Submissions” below. Should a winning contestant be unwilling or otherwise unable to enter into such license, or provide such permissions and/or releases or otherwise cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, an alternate contestant will be selected by Sponsor from the remaining eligible entries until one who is able to meet all requirements shall be selected. Winning contestants must provide Sponsor with the signed Release and return all documents in a timely manner as required pursuant to these Official Rules in order to be eligible to receive any prize. The name of the winners may be obtained by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Marketing, Iredale Cosmetics, Inc.‎, at 50 Church Street, Great Barrington, Massachusetts‎ 01230, after March 17, 2025.

PRIZES: Three (3) prizes: One (1) First place winner will receive $2,000 worth of jane iredale products, One (1) second place place winner will receive $1,000 worth of jane iredale products and one (1) third place winner will receive $500 worth of jane iredale products. All winners will receive a complimentary virtual consultation with a jane iredale Beauty Advisor to help make their selection and each winner will receive a tube of Lash Fixation Length & Definition Tubing Mascara. Contest available to US entrants only. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Prizes are limited to those listed in these Official Rules. Winning contestant is not entitled to any surplus between actual value of prize and stated retail value. In the event Sponsor is unable to award a prize as stated, the winning contestant will receive a substitute prize of equal or greater value, at Sponsor’s discretion. Any costs or fees not specifically listed herein, as well as any applicable federal, state and local taxes, are the responsibility of the winning contestant. Winning contestant may expect delivery of prize within six weeks of prize notification, unless otherwise noted at the time of prize notification.

USE OF WINNING SUBMISSIONS: Provided that a winning contestant accepts contestant’s prize, Sponsor shall have the right to use such contestant’s winning submission in merchandising, advertising, marketing or promotion or for any other commercial or non-commercial purpose without additional compensation to the contestant. As a condition to receiving a prize, the winning contestant(s) shall grant to Sponsor, for no additional compensation, a non-exclusive, sub-licensable, royalty-free, fully paid license and right to use, distribute, make derivative works from and otherwise exploit the submission, in any manner and in any medium now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world in perpetuity. Contestants hereby forever waive and relinquish all so-called "moral rights (droit moral)" now or hereafter recognized.

USE OF ALL SUBMISSIONS: Sponsor shall have the right to use all submissions for the purposes of promoting the Contest and other contests administered by Sponsor without additional compensation, and contestant, by making such submission, grants Sponsor a perpetual, non-exclusive, sub-licensable, royalty-free, fully-paid license and right to use, distribute the submission for those promotional purposes.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The Contest is subject to these Official Rules and by participation in the Contest, contestants agree to be bound thereby. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. All information provided by contestants in connection with the Contest is being provided to Sponsor and not to Facebook. By entering the Contest, contestants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Facebook Inc., and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies, and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

All decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding and contestants agree to waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Contest or these Official Rules, except where prohibited by law.

Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) lost, late, misdirected, undeliverable, incomplete or indecipherable submissions due to system errors or failures, or faulty transmissions or other telecommunications malfunctions and/or entries; (b) technical failures of any kind; (c) failures of any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (d) unauthorized human and/or mechanical intervention in any part of the submission process or the Contest; (e) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; (f) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials associated with the Contest; or (g) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from any contestant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any contestant it finds to be violating these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Contest, in its sole discretion, should it receive fewer than ten submissions, or due to circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters. Sponsor has the right, but not the obligation, to use any winning submission. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with the Contest and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Contest should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control, corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contest. Sponsor may prohibit a contestant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines such contestant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, plagiarizing, engaging in any deception, or any other unfair playing practices of intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, undermine or harass any other contestants or Sponsor representatives. Disputes regarding these Official Rules and/or this Contest will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without giving effect to the conflicts or choice of law provisions of Massachusetts or any other jurisdiction. Contestants agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the state or federal courts of Massachusetts, with venue in Berkshire County with respect to any state court proceeding, and Springfield, Massachusetts, with respect to any federal court proceeding in connection with any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with the Contest.
