Rhinebeck Bank “2026 Dutchess County Fair Social Sweepstakes” Official Rules 

1. No purchase or account necessary to enter. The Sweepstakes will begin on July 20, 2026 at 9:00 AM EST and end August 14, 2026 at 4:30 PM EST (the “Sweepstakes Period”). This year there are two ways to win: the daily sweepstakes giveaway and the Grand Prize giveaway. Each sweepstake must be entered separately. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules. 
 
Each weekday during the Sweepstakes Period, Rhinebeck Bank (the “Bank”) will post a “Sweepstakes Question” to its Facebook and Instagram pages.  The "Sweepstakes Question” will be in one of the following formats or a combination of these formats: 1) a trivia question, 2) a true/false statement, 3) a survey question, 4) a request for you to share your “favorite” of something from the Dutchess County Fair, such as a memory or food item, or something you’re looking forward to, or 5) answering a riddle. To enter the daily contest, respond via the provided link in the post. Entrants are required to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages to interact with posts. This function is a security measure to prevent malicious actors from spamming our entrants with false claims. All Sweepstakes Questions on Facebook and Instagram posts will include a link, or direction to link in bio, to enter the Grand Prize drawing. The daily Sweepstakes Question entrants are not automatically entered into The Grand Prize drawing and must enter this drawing separately.   

2. How to Enter  

To enter to win two tickets to the Dutchess County Fair (the daily sweepstakes giveaway), follow the instructions in that day’s Sweepstakes Question on Rhinebeck Bank’s Facebook and/or Instagram post and submit the correct answer to that day’s sweepstakes question, via provided link in post copy, of the Bank’s original sweepstakes question post for that day.   For all sweepstakes questions other than those asking for you to share a “favorite” or to share a “memory”, your answer must match Rhinebeck Bank’s answer. Only a correct answer that matches Rhinebeck Bank’s answer will be considered an “eligible entry” for the Sweepstakes that day.  The Sweepstakes Question will be posted at or around 10:00 AM EST each weekday during the Sweepstakes Period, and all responses must be entered through the provided link in the Bank’s original Facebook and/or Instagram post for that day by 4:00 PM EST.  A winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries for that day’s Sweepstakes Question, and the winner will be announced on Facebook and Instagram between 4:00 PM EST and 5:00 PM EST. You may enter once per day, and may enter each day of the Sweepstakes, but may only win the daily sweepstakes giveaway of two tickets once during the Sweepstakes Period. 
 
Anyone who wants to enter the daily sweepstakes giveaway and does not have a Facebook or Instagram profile, or does not want to participate on Facebook or Instagram, can enter the Sweepstakes by mailing their name, phone number and email address on an index card to Rhinebeck Bank, 2026 DC Fair Sweepstakes- Daily Giveaway, PO Box 1191, Poughkeepsie, NY 12602 or by submitting their name, phone number and email address labeled “Daily Giveaway” at any Rhinebeck Bank branch location by 4:00 PM EST on Sweepstakes days.  Any entries submitted through the mail will be entered into the Sweepstakes on the day the mail is processed by the Bank.  If the entry is received by the Bank after 4:00 PM EST, it will be included in the next day’s drawing.  Any entries submitted at a Rhinebeck Bank branch after 4:00 PM EST or over the weekend will also be included in the next business day’s drawing.  Each mail envelope is considered one entry. Rhinebeck Bank will not verify receipt of entries for entrants.  All entries submitted become the sole property of Rhinebeck Bank and will not be returned.  Rhinebeck Bank is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or damaged mailed entries.  In the event of uncertainty as to the identity of an entrant, the entry may be voided altogether by Rhinebeck Bank. Copies of the Official Rules are also available at all Rhinebeck Bank branch locations and online at www.rhinebeckbank.com/sweepstakes.  
 
To enter to win the “Grand Prize”, follow the instructions and click on the link included in the daily sweepstakes post on Rhinebeck Bank’s official Facebook and Instagram pages. Anyone who wants to enter the “Grand Prize” drawing can also visit RhinebeckBank.com/sweepstakes and enter online.  A winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries for the Grand Prize giveaway between 4:30 PM EST and 5:00 PM EST on Friday, August 14, 2026. Eligible entries through the online link require a complete submission of first and last name, email address, phone number and date of birth. You may enter more than once per day and may enter each day of the Sweepstakes.  

 Anyone who does not have a Facebook and/or Instagram page or does not want to participate through Facebook or Instagram or does not want to enter online can enter the Grand Prize drawing by mailing their name, phone number, and email address on an index card to Rhinebeck Bank, 2026 DC Fair Sweepstakes- Grand Prize, PO Box 1191, Poughkeepsie, NY 12602 or by submitting their name, phone number and email address labeled Grand Prize at any Rhinebeck Bank branch location.  All entries for the Grand Prize drawing must be received by 4:00 PM EST on August 14, 2026.  Each mail envelope is considered one entry. Rhinebeck Bank will not verify receipt of entries for entrants.  All entries submitted become the sole property of Rhinebeck Bank and will not be returned.  Rhinebeck Bank is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or damaged mailed entries.  In the event of uncertainty as to the identity of an entrant, the entry may be voided altogether by Rhinebeck Bank.   

The Grand Prize drawing will be powered by ViralSweep, a platform used to run sweepstakes on social networking sites. Entrants agree to the ViralSweep Privacy Policy, which can be reviewed at https://www.viralsweep.com/privacy.  

Winners of the daily sweepstakes giveaway are eligible to win the Grand Prize, but must enter to win separately.  
 
Rhinebeck Bank reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry processes, or anyone who uses profanity or other inappropriate language in their response. Use of bots or other automated processes to enter is prohibited and may result in disqualification at the sole discretion of Rhinebeck Bank. Rhinebeck Bank further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify any promotion not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, force majeure or technical failures of any sort.   

3.    Sweepstakes Eligibility: The 2026 Dutchess County Fair Social Sweepstakes is only open to lawful permanent residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old as of the date of entry.  Employees and Directors of Rhinebeck Bank, its parent company and affiliated companies and their immediate families (i.e. parents, children, spouses, siblings) and members of their households (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate.   

4.    Winners:  
 
Daily Sweepstakes Winners: Fifteen (20) winners will receive two (2) tickets to the 2026 Dutchess County Fair. Potential winners will be selected at random each weekday during the Sweepstakes Period from all eligible entries of the 2026 Dutchess County Fair Social Sweepstakes received before 4:00 PM EST that weekday.  One winner will be chosen per weekday.  Each General Admission Adult ticket is valued at $20.  Winners will be announced in two ways: as a new comment on the original post, and/or as a new post on Rhinebeck Bank’s Facebook and Instagram pages.  It is the winner’s responsibility to check Facebook and/or Instagram to see if they have won.  Only winners who entered via mail or at a branch location will be notified by phone.  Each winner will need to make arrangements to pick up their tickets at the branch location closest to them or ask that the tickets be mailed to their home address. Winners must contact Rhinebeck Bank via email or phone call to claim their tickets and arrange for pick-up. Pending verification of eligibility, an execution of required waivers, and publicity and liability releases, the prize will be awarded.  If the winner does not contact Rhinebeck Bank within 72 hours to make arrangements to pick up their tickets, they will be donated to the Grace Smith House, a non-profit organization.  All tickets must be claimed by August 20, 2026.  

The Grand Prize Sweepstakes:  One winner will receive four (4) tickets to the 2026 Dutchess County Fair, a voucher redeemable for four (4) 2026 All Day Ride Wristbands and a $250 pre-paid general purpose Gift Card. The winner will be selected at random on Friday, August 14, 2026. Each General Admission Adult ticket is valued at $20 and each 2026 All Day Ride Wristband is valued at $40. The Grand Prize winner will be announced as a new post on Rhinebeck Bank’s Facebook and Instagram pages and emailed at the provided email address on Friday, August 14, 2026. It is the winner’s responsibility to check Facebook, Instagram and their email to see if they have won. Only winners who entered via mail or at a branch location will be notified by phone.  The Winner must contact Rhinebeck Bank via Private Message on Facebook or via email to claim their tickets and voucher and arrange for pick-up. Pending verification of eligibility, an execution of required waivers, and publicity and liability releases, the prize will be awarded.  If the winner does not contact Rhinebeck Bank within 72 hours to make arrangements to pick up their prize, it will be donated to the Grace Smith House, a non-profit organization.  The voucher must be presented at the Dutchess County Fair Ticket window to claim their ride wristbands.  The voucher is valid August 25-30, 2026. The voucher is non-transferable and there will be no substitutions.  

5.    Subject to all federal, State of New York and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Any violation of these rules may result in disqualification.  

6.    For both the daily Sweepstakes and the grand prize Sweepstakes, the odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for each giveaway. Prizes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. No substitution of prizes permitted.  Prizes are not transferable.  Winners are solely responsible for reporting winnings and paying all taxes, as applicable. In the event the 2026 Dutchess County Fair is cancelled, it will be up to the Dutchess County Agricultural Society and fair management to decide if tickets will be honored at a future date. 
 
Daily Giveaway winners will be chosen at random from each day’s eligible entries using the mobile application Lottery Number Generator.  The developers and owners of this application and their immediate families (i.e. parents, children, spouses, siblings) and members of their households (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.   

The Grand Prize Winner will also be chosen at random from all entries received for the Grand Prize Sweepstakes using the online platform ViralSweep. The developers and owners of this application and their immediate families (i.e. parents, children, spouses, siblings) and members of their households (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.  

7.    By claiming a prize, winners consent to Rhinebeck Bank’s use of their name and photograph for editorial, advertising and publicity purposes without further compensation, unless where prohibited by law.  Further, by accepting a prize, winner agrees they have complied with these Official Rules, as stated, and will not assert any claims and agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Rhinebeck Bank, its parent company and affiliated companies and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any and all claims made by the winners, entrants, or any third parties, and any and all liabilities, injuries or damages sustained in connection with the award or use of the prize. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram and any other social media platform. Each entrant and the prize winner forever releases and holds harmless Rhinebeck Bank, Facebook, Instagram and any other social media platform and their respective affiliated persons from any liability or claims made by such entrant or prize winner in any way related to participation in this Sweepstakes.  

8.    For a list of prize winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Winners List C/O Marketing Department, PO Box 1191, Poughkeepsie, NY 12602 between September 1, 2026 – September 26, 2026.
