Lauzon Music Taylor 314ce Studio Sweepstakes Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility: The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Canada who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of Lauzon Music, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. The sweepstake is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

2. Residents of the province of Quebec are excluded from participating in this sweepstakes. This exclusion is due to the specific regulations and requirements outlined in the Quebec Consumer Protection Act (Loi sur la protection du consommateur) which imposes additional legal obligations on giveaways, sweepstakes, and contests conducted in Quebec.

3. Sponsor: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Lauzon Music, located at 1345 Wellington St. W, Ottawa, ON K1Y 3B8, Canada.

4. Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Lauzon Music as final and binding as it relates to the content. The sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws.

5. Sweepstakes Period: The sweepstakes begins June 1st, 2025, and ends August 1st, 2025. Entries will be accepted online via newsletter subscription and additional forms of entry during the sweepstakes period and the winner will be announced on August 1st, 2025.

6. How to Enter: Entry method and details will be provided in promotional materials. Only one entry per person is allowed. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain more than one entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, or logins, or any other methods will void all of that entrant's entries and that entrant will be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

7. Prize: The prize is Taylor 314ce Studio, approximate retail value 2899. Actual/appraised value may differ at the time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Lauzon Music. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Lauzon Music's discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, provincial, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of the prize or transfer/assignment of the prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted.

8. Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected by a random drawing under the supervision of Lauzon Music. Winner will be notified by email within five (5) days following selection of winner. Lauzon Music shall have no liability for winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings or for winner's provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within three days, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

9. Rights Granted by Entrants: By entering this sweepstakes, you grant Lauzon Music a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute your entry in any and all media formats, whether now known or hereafter devised, for any purpose, including without limitation, advertising, promotion, and marketing of Lauzon Music and its products and services.

10. Limitation of Liability: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Lauzon Music and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant's participation in the sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the sweepstakes; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the sweepstakes or the processing of entries.

11. Disputes: This sweepstakes is governed by the laws of Canada, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in 1345 Wellington St. W, Ottawa, ON K1Y 3B8, Canada having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this sweepstakes). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

12. Winners List: To obtain a copy of the winner's name or a copy of these Official Rules, mail your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Lauzon Music, 1345 Wellington St. W, Ottawa, ON K1Y 3B8, Canada. Requests must be received no later than  August 1st, 2025.

13. Sponsor: The sponsor of the sweepstakes is Lauzon Music, 1345 Wellington St. W, Ottawa, ON K1Y 3B8, Canada.
