Rules

1    General Information:

1.1    1.1 This contest is held by Thermor Ltd. 16975 Leslie Street, Newmarket, ON L3Y 8Y8 (Thermor or « Sponsor”), with accommodations being provided by Franklyn D. Resort, Main street, Runaway Bay Jamaica (Prize Supplier).

1.2    Only Residents of Canada who have reached the legal age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry may enter this Contest

1.3    Despite the foregoing, employees, representatives, agents of, (and their respective immediate family members), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries advertising agencies, are not eligible to enter this Contest. “Immediate family” is defined as parents, siblings, children, spouse or partner or anyone with whom any of the above are domiciled.

2    How To Enter:

2.2    NO Purchase Necessary.  Purchasing will not increase chance of winning.

2.3    The Perfect Parenting Contest entry period (the “Entry Period”) begins at 12:01 AM EST on August 30, 2019 and ends March 31, 2020 at 11:59 PM EST.

2.4    To enter the Contest, watch the Perfecting Parenting videos  and then go to www.biosprecisiontemp.ca to enter the contest. Videos will be shared on various social media sites as well as on the contest page.  

2.4.1    Correctly answer the Parenting Quiz (answers provided in the videos).  Limit of one entry per person per 24hour period during the contest period.  Persons submitting multiple entries by using different email addresses, if discovered, will be disqualified.

2.4.2    Share the contest for additional contest entries as outlined on the contest site.

2.5    By participating in the Contest, you agree to be bound to these Contest Rules and Regulations and to the terms and conditions of the Contest. All entries are subject to verification. 

2.6    On April 15, 2020, at 12:01pm at the Thermor Office, located in Newmarket, Ontario a random draw will held from all eligible entries received throughout the Contest Period to select the 10 Thermometer winners and one Grand Prize winner. The odds of winning the Prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

2.7    Notification of Winner:  A representative of Thermor Ltd or its agency will notify the potential winners following the draw via e-mail and/or by phone. 

2.7.1    Winners names will be pubished on the Biosprecisiontemp.ca contest page, and associated Facebook page.

2.8    Prize winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and will have to correctly answer, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by Thermor Ltd. Or its agency. If no response to the notification email or telephone call is received within 72 hours of the date on which it was first sent/made, the drawn winner will be deemed to irrevocably forfeit the Prize and a new winning entry shall be drawn, this process will repeat until a final winner is declared.

3    PRIZE DESCRIPTION:

3.1    There are Ten (10) Precision Temp Thermometers and one (1) Grand Prize Family* vacation available to be won.

3.2    Thermometer prize consists of one (1) Bios Precision Temp Thermometers (per winner) and free downloadable mobile appl valued at approximately $79.95 Suggested Retail Selling Price.  Thermometers will be shipped directly to the winners’ home address free of charge.

3.3    The GRAND PRIZE Family Vacation includes: 

3.3.1    Round-trip economy airfare for four (4) people (2 Adults and 2 Children under the age of 16) on a regularly scheduled flight as selected by the Sponsor at the time of booking (West Jet , Air Canada, Air Transat or Sunwing) from the Canadian Airport closest to the winner’s home address to Montego Bay Jamaica. 

3.3.2    7-night stay at the Franklyn D, Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica for 2 adults, and 2 children under the age of 16.  If the winning family wishes to bring an older child, or other adults, they assume all incremental costs, if any.    

3.3.3    Your  FDR stay includes: Round trip transportation from Sangster International Airport to FDR., All-inclusive package as described on FDRHolidays.com (https://fdrholidays.com/whats-included), Vacation Nanny service is provided from 8:30am to 4:40pm daily, with one hour off for lunch.  After-Hours Nanny service can be arranged directly with the Nanny. The winner assumes all costs for Nanny service outside the normal hours stated herein, water sports and other activities listed as free on the FDR Holiday web-site.

3.3.4    Estimated value $10,000 Canadian (Based on high season Travel).

3.3.5    Transportation of the winning family to and from the closest major Canadian Airport, airline baggage fees, pre-seat selection fees, travel insurance and gratuities at the resort are NOT included in the prize.

4    Prize Restrictions: 

4.1    The Prize is valid for 1 year from the date it is awarded (April 15, 2020).  Extension of the prize would be at the sole discretion of the Management at the FDR Resort.

4.2    Travel is not permitted during the following black out period:  December 20, 2020,to January 4, 2021.

4.3    Seats are subject to availability and economy fares at the time of booking. Prize does not include pre-seat selection or checked baggage fees..The winning family must travel on the same itinerary in both directions. The Winner is responsible for transportation to and from the major Canadian Airport closest to their home and all other expenses, including overnights, due to flight interruptions or cancellations. 

4.4    Transportation is subject to availability, government restrictions and regulations, airline, airport or other transportation restrictions and regulations. Winner and guests are responsible for all expenses other than those mentioned above as included including, but not limited to, other transportation including ground transportation in Canada, baggage fees, attractions fees, merchandise, souvenirs, medical insurance, travel visas, and all other personal expenses of any kind. Thermor Ltd. is not responsible for any delay, postponement, suspension, rescheduling or cancellation, for any reason, of any flight(s) and winner will not be compensated in the event of such delay, cancellation or other event described herein. 

4.5    The Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value (and without limiting the foregoing, the prize may not be sold or traded). The Prize must be taken as offered. No credit or reimbursement will be provided if prize is not taken.  The prize cannot be split (two trips of 2 people each) and there will be no compensation for any unused portion of the prize (ie: if 3 members travel instead of 4).

4.6    FDR Resort reservations must be made a minimum of one month in advance of your desired travel date. Three (3) month advance booking is strongly recommended.  Reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.  FDR reserves the right to select accommodation based on availability on chosen dates. Prize cannot be combined with any other promotional offer or offers provided by the prize supplier. 

4.7    Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

5    Release:

5.1    Prior to being declared the winner, the selected entrant will be required to show valid photo ID and sign a declaration of eligibility and release form releasing the Sponsor, the Prize Supplier and each of their related parties from any and all liability in connection with the Contest and/or the Prize, confirming compliance with these Contest rules and consenting to the use of his or her name and photograph, without further notice or compensation, in any publicity carried out by the Sponsor, the Prize Supplier and/or their advertising and promotional agencies. The signed forms must be received by the Sponsor within ten (10) days of notification to the entrant that he/she has been selected as a potential winner or the Prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate entrant that will be selected, in accordance with these Contest rules. Each winner and any guest may be required to sign additional releases upon request by the Sponsor or the Prize Supplier.

6    Disputes (for Quebec Residents)

6.1    Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement”.
