NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF KANSAS, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, IOWA, COLORADO, WYOMING, TEXAS, ARKANSAS, OKLAHOMA, LOUISIANA, AND SOUTH DAKOTA (ALL OTHER UNITED STATES RESIDENTS ARE PROHIBITED FROM ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES). ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
The HILAND PROPACK SNACK Sweepstakes (hereinafter the “Sweepstakes”) is only open to legal residents of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and South Dakota who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. All other United States residents are prohibited from entering this Sweepstakes. Employees, officers, directors, and representatives of Sponsor (as herein defined), and other companies associated with the promotion of the Sweepstakes, and each of the foregoing’s respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies (the “Ineligible Parties”), as well as immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each of the Ineligible Parties are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility qualifications of any entrant and/or Winner.
The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Hiland Dairy Foods Company, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company (“Sponsor”), located at PO Box 2270 in Springfield, Missouri 65801| www.hilanddairy.com.
Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes an entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Sweepstakes Rules (“Official Sweepstakes Rules”) and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
The Sweepstakes begins on January 29, 2025, at 12:00 AM CST and ends on March 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM CST (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries that are submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the Sweepstakes duration at the online site and via mail, as provided below.
Online: This method of entry will be available by visiting the Sponsor’s website at http://www.hilanddairy.com/propack during the Sweepstakes Period. Upon completion of the online entry, additional entries are available by clicking the (i) “Visit us on Facebook” option and visiting Sponsor’s Facebook page via the link provided (ii) “Follow us on Twitter” option and following Sponsor’s Twitter account via the link provided (iii) “Visit us on Instagram” option and visiting Sponsor’s Instagram page via the link provided and (iv) “Follow us on Pinterest” option and following Sponsor’s Pinterest account via the link provided.
Usage of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest may require a mobile device and therefore standard data rates may. Entrant agrees to incur at his or her sole cost any and all such charges. Entrant must be the authorized account holder of such Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest accounts; otherwise, such entry may be deemed void. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned to the applicable Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest accounts by Facebook, Inc., Twitter, Inc., or Pinterest, Inc. By visiting or following Sponsor’s accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest, Entrant agrees to comply with any and all terms of use/platform guidelines, policies, and content restrictions of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest, as applicable.
Entries received from any person, e-mail address, or household in excess of any stated limitation will be void. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method will void all entries. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
US Mail Without Making a Purchase: This free alternative method of entry (“AMOE”) will be available for the entire Sweepstakes Period. On a 3x5 card, entrant must handprint entrant’s full name, complete address, phone number (including area code), date of birth, and e-mail address. Entrant must mail the 3x5 card in an envelope, with proper postage affixed to: Hiland Dairy Foods Company, LLC | Attention: Hiland ProPack Snack – Sweepstakes Entry | PO Box 2270 | Springfield, Missouri 65801. Each AMOE must be hand-printed and mailed in separately stamped envelopes. All AMOE must be received by March 20, 2025 at 11:59 PM CST. Entries received from any person, e-mail address, or household in excess of any stated limitation will be void. All AMOE become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. For each eligible AMOE timely received, entrant will receive one (1) entry into a drawing for a chance to win a prize.
Eligible entrants must enter via one of the online or AMOE methods, as described above. Incomplete entries are void. Any entry by a resident of a state other than Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and South Dakota is void. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Sweepstakes Rules, including all eligibility requirements. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any website or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, postage due, illegible or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. No copies, facsimiles, or reproductions of official entry forms will be accepted.
On or about April 3, 2025, Sponsor will select one or more potential winner(s) in a random drawing from among all eligible participants who correctly submitted an online entry and/or correctly mailed in an AMOE(s) (the “Potential Winner(s)”). The odds of being selected depend on the number of correct online submissions and the number of correct AMOE(s). The Potential Winner need not be present or on-site at Sponsor to win. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the Potential Winner via e-mail and/or phone number on or about April 3, 2025. If the Potential Winner cannot be contacted after two (2) attempts to contact him/her, Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in the potential winner’s place at random from the remaining eligible entrants that correctly submitted an online entry and/or correctly mailed in an AMOE(s) (the “Alternate Potential Winner(s)”). Sponsor, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, may repeat such process until receiving an affirmative reply from an Alternate Potential Winner or elect to have the prize(s) remain unawarded.
Once Sponsor has received an affirmative reply from either the Potential Winner(s) or the Alternate Potential Winner(s), such Potential Winner(s) or Alternate Potential Winner(s) shall be required to complete, sign and submit a Declaration of Compliance (the “Declaration of Compliance”) within fourteen (14) business days of receipt of the same from Sponsor in order to claim his/her prize(s). The Declaration of Compliance shall either be sent via certified US mail Hiland Dairy Foods Company, LLC | Attention: Hiland ProPack Snack – Declaration of Compliance | PO Box 2270 | Springfield, Missouri 65801. If the Potential Winner(s) or the Alternate Potential Winner(s) fails to submit the Declaration of Compliance within the required time period, the Potential Winner(s) or the Alternate Potential Winner(s) forfeits the prize(s). The Potential Winner(s) and Alternate Potential Winner(s) must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Sweepstakes Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In the event that a Potential Winner(s) or Alternate Potential Winner(s) is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the applicable prize to an Alternative Potential Winner(s) by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entrants that correctly submitted an online entry and/or correctly mailed in an AMOE(s). The prize(s) will be awarded after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period and after the Sponsor’s receipt of the Potential Winner(s) or Alternate Potential Winner(s) Declaration of Compliance (such person(s) being the “Winner(s)”).
Two prizes of varying values will be awarded, including:
No cash equivalent available unless required by law. All prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize(s) should become unavailable for any reason. Winner(s) are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize(s) receipt and/or use.
In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to, fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the event the Sweepstakes is unable to run as planned for any other reason, including but not limited to a reason of force majeure, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Sweepstakes Rules or (b) terminate the Sweepstakes and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment that correctly submitted an online entry and/or correctly mailed in an AMOE(s). Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Sweepstakes Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and/or civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorneys’ fees and costs) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the end of the Sweepstakes Period, notice will be posted at www.hilanddairy.com. Failure by Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Sweepstakes Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sponsor, Sponsor’s officers, directors, and employees, each of Sponsor’s respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directions, and employees, as well as other companies associated with the Sweepstakes (including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest), and each of their respective officers, directors, employees (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims, demands, payments, actions, or causes of action for damages, loss or injury arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the prize(s) (including any travel or activity related thereto), including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Sweepstakes, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, wireless service provider, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular tower or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes, (c) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing or typographical errors, (d) application downloads, (e) any fees incurred by Entrant’s use of its mobile device or internet, (f) any other errors or problems in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the announcement of the Winner, the cancellation or postponement of the Sweepstakes, the incorrect downloading of the application, the processing of entries application downloads or in any Sweepstakes- related materials, (g) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt, or misuse of the prize(s) (including any travel or activity related thereto), or (h) Ineligible Parties participating in this Sweepstakes or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other related costs. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize(s) awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Missouri. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Sweepstakes Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Missouri, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Missouri.
By entry into this Sweepstakes, each entrant grants Sponsor the irrevocable and unrestricted right and permission to use, re-use, publish, and republish any and all photographs, video recordings, and/or sound recordings (including those on entrant’s social media) of an entrant or in which entrant may be included, in whole or in part, without restriction as to changes or alterations, in any and all media now or hereafter known (including, but not limited to, publications, flyers, social networking sites, newsletters, posters, emails, web pages, and other print and digital communications), for promotional and advertising purposes, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Each entrant understands that entrant may be identified by entrant’s legal name, fictitious name, social media name, and/or social media handle and consents to Sponsor’s use of entrant’s name, likeness, and/or any biographical material concerning entrant in connection with the foregoing, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with any social media platform, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat.
To request the name of the Winner(s), send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Hiland Dairy Foods Company, LLC | Attention: Hiland ProPack Snack – Winner(s) List | PO Box 2270 | Springfield, Missouri 65801. Winner list requests will only be accepted after the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Requests received any time prior to the end of the Sweepstakes Period or after April 15, 2025 will not be honored.
Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s “Privacy Policy”. Entrants should read Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at www.hilanddairy.com/privacy-policy/. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants may receive marketing materials, communications, and other materials from Sponsor, Sponsor’s affiliates, or other companies whose products and services Sponsor feels might interest entrants at a future date. An entrant not interested in receiving this material, should notify Sponsor of entrant’s desire not to receive such materials by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email Sponsor sends.
