Rules

1. SPONSOR - The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Budget Bytes, LLC (“Sponsor”), Budget Bytes, 4117 Gallatin Pike, Suite 105, Nashville, TN 37216. For questions, contact: support@budgetbytes.com.

2. SWEEPSTAKES DESCRIPTION - One (1) winner will be selected per Promotion Period. The prize is one (1) Walmart e-gift card with a retail value of five hundred U.S. Dollars (USD $500) (“Prize”) if a US resident wins, OR five hundred Canadian Dollars (CAD $500) if a Canadian resident wins.  

3. PROMOTION PERIOD - Entries will be accepted online starting on or about July 15, 2026 and ending on August 12, 2026. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, or terminate any Promotion Period with reasonable notice posted on the Sweepstakes webpage. All online entries must be received by  August 12, 2026 11:45 PM PST.

4. ELIGIBILITY - NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
The Sweepstakes is open only to:

- Legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia) and Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec);
- Who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry;
- Who have a valid email address at the time of entry.

The following persons are NOT eligible to enter or win:

- Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers;
- Immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members (whether related or not) of any such ineligible person;
- Residents of the Province of Quebec, Canada.

5. HOW TO ENTER - To obtain one (1) entry into the applicable monthly Promotion Period drawing, an eligible entrant must, during the Promotion Period:

1. Visit the official Sweepstakes entry page at: www.budgetbytes.com/budget-bytes-500-grocery-giveaway-summer-2026/ 

2. Submit a valid email address via the entry form; and

3. Affirmatively opt in to receive the Budget Bytes newsletter and marketing communications by checking the designated opt-in checkbox.

4. To enter without subscribing to the newsletter, you have the option of entering via mail-in entry. To enter, mail a letter with your full legal name, mailing address, nationality and date of birth to 4117 Gallatin Pike, Suite 105, Nashville, TN 37216. Mail-in entries must be postmarked and received no later than August 12, 2026. Limited to one (1) mail-in entry per envelope. The AMOE provides an equal chance of winning.  

Limit: One (1) entry per person, per email address, per day within the Promotion Period, regardless of method of entry. Entrants are eligible to earn more entries as defined by the post-entry actions of the sweepstakes, up to a maximum of 12 entries per person per day. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means are void. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, or do not conform to these Rules will be disqualified.

6. DRAWING & WINNER SELECTION - On or about the fifth (5th) business day following the close of each Promotion Period, one (1) potential winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during that Promotion Period in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor or its designated representative. The random drawing will be conducted using a randomized computer process. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Promotion Period.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION & VERIFICATION - Budget Bytes shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winners' spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winners' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 15 days from the time the award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

The receipt by the winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR'S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

The potential winner may be required to:

- Complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where permitted by law) within ten (10) business days of being notified;

- Provide proof of age and residency upon request;

- Provide a valid mailing address (for delivery of the prize voucher or for prize fulfillment purposes);

- Complete a Form W-9 (U.S. residents) or Form W-8BEN (Canadian residents) for tax reporting purposes where the prize value triggers applicable reporting thresholds.

8. PRIZE - One (1) Prize per monthly Promotion Period. Prize: one (1) Walmart e-gift card with an approximate retail value (ARV) of USD $500.00 for US winners OR $500.00 CAD for Canadian Winners.

Prize details:

- Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable, and no cash substitution, exchange, or replacement will be made, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as required by law.
- Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
- Winner is responsible for all federal, state/provincial, and local taxes on the prize. All expenses not expressly described herein are the winner’s sole responsibility.

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS & RELEASES - By entering, each entrant agrees: (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding; (b) to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind arising in connection with the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, or use of the Prize; and (c) to grant Sponsor the right (except where prohibited by law) to use their name, city, state/province, and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & GOVERNING LAW - These Official Rules are governed by the laws of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. All disputes arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the USA. By participating, entrants consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENTRANT WAIVES THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT.

11. PRIVACY & NEWSLETTER OPT-IN - Personal information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes will be used for administration of the Sweepstakes, winner notification, prize fulfillment, and (where the entrant has affirmatively opted in) for sending the Budget Bytes newsletter and marketing communications. Entrants who opt in to the newsletter agree to receive email communications from Budget Bytes. Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at support@budgetbytes.com. Collection and use of personal information are subject to Budget Bytes’ Privacy Policy, available at Budgetbytes.com/privacy-policy. For Canadian entrants, consent to receive commercial electronic messages is governed by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

12. RESIDENTS OF SPECIFIC JURISDICTIONS - Void where prohibited or restricted by law. This Sweepstakes is void in the Province of Quebec, Canada. Residents of Quebec are not eligible to enter.

13. FORCE MAJEURE & MODIFICATION - Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes (or any Promotion Period) in the event of any act, occurrence, or reason that Sponsor believes would corrupt the integrity, administration, or fairness of the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to technical failures, natural disasters, pandemic, civil unrest, or acts of God. In such event, Sponsor may select winners from eligible entries received prior to cancellation/modification.

14. WINNERS LIST - To obtain the name of each monthly winner (available approximately 30 days after the close of each Promotion Period), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Budget Bytes Monthly Giveaway Winners List, Budget Bytes, 4117 Gallatin Pike, Suite 105, Nashville, TN 37216, or email your request to support@budgetbytes.com. This request must be received within ninety (90) days of the end of the applicable Promotion Period.
