F8 Red Carpet Sweepstakes Official Rules (“Official Rules”)

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL ELIGIBLE ENTRIES HAVE THE SAME CHANCE OF WINNING.

ELIGIBILITY: The F8 Red Carpet Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States & District of Columbia (“Eligibility Area”) who are 21 years of age or older as of date of entry. Employees of The Buckle, Inc. and Buckle Brands, Inc., (collectively “Buckle”), Affliction Holdings, LLC, ViralSweep, the providers of prizes as named and defined below as “Prize Providers”, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and inherent agencies (collectively the “Sweepstakes Entities”), and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of such employees or family members (whether related or not) are not eligible. All U.S. federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER: Enter the Sweepstakes online by visiting www.buckle.com/sweepstakes from 12:01 AM (CT) on 2/6/17 through 11:59 PM (CT) on 2/26/17 and following the on-screen directions to enter the Sweepstakes (“Online Entry”). Limit one (1) Online Entry per person. Bonus Entries: Upon submitting a valid Online Entry, each entrant will be eligible to receive bonus entries (each a “Bonus Entry” and collectively ‘Bonus Entries”) by following the instructions online; Bonus Entries will be void if such instructions are not followed in their entirety. One (1) Bonus Entry will be awarded for completion of each of the following activities: (i) following @BuckleStore on Twitter, (ii) tweeting the suggested tweet on Twitter, (iii) following @buckle on Instagram, (iv) following buckle_official on Snapchat, and (v) for referring a friend who enters the sweepstakes from the referral. 

Online Entries and Bonus Entries may be referred to hereafter individually as an “Entry” and collectively as “Entries”. Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat may be referred to hereafter as “Social Media Platforms”.

IMPORTANT:  Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any message and data rates that may apply if entering via the Social Media Platforms or connectivity issues with service providers.

For purposes of this Sweepstakes, an Entry is "received" online when the Sponsor’s server records the Entry information.  Proof of sending (such as an automated computer receipt confirming Entry or "thanks for entering" message) does not constitute proof of actual receipt of an Entry for purposes of this Sweepstakes.  Illegible and/or incomplete Entries and Entries submitted by Entrants who do not meet the eligibility requirements (including all requirements with respect to age and residence) are void.  Those who do not follow all of the instructions or abide by these Official Rules or other instructions of Sponsor may be disqualified.

RANDOM DRAWING AND WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be selected by Deloitte & Touche, LLP, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final, in a random drawing to be held on or about 03/01/17 from among all eligible Entries received by ViralSweep. Potential winners will be notified by email and/or phone. Limit one (1) prize per person. Odds of winning a prize are based solely on the number of eligible entries received and are equal regardless of method of Entry.

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES:

(1) Grand Prize: Grand Prize winner and one travel companion (“Guest”) (who must be at least 13 years of age and if a minor, be the child or legal ward of the Grand Prize winner) will win a trip (“Trip”) to New York City (“NYC”) and a possible “opportunity” (subject to availability as detailed below) to walk the “red carpet” and attend “The Fate of the Furious” (“Picture”) movie premiere (“Premiere”), anticipated to be at Radio City Music Hall, New York City, NY on April 8, 2017. Winner and Guest will be styled by Buckle and Affliction for premiere.   Winner and Guest will each receive a $500 Buckle electronic Gift Card which may be used toward the purchase of product from the styling session. The Trip includes the following: (i) roundtrip (“R/T”) economy (coach) class airfare for two (2) from a major U.S. gateway airport nearest the Grand Prize winner’s hometown (as determined by Sponsor) and within the Eligibility Area to New York; (ii) two (2) consecutive nights’ hotel accommodations (single standard room, double occupancy; room and room tax only) at a hotel (“Hotel”) in the NYC area; (iii) admission for Grand Prize winner and Guest to the Premiere; and (iv) R/T ground transfers between NYC airport and Hotel and (if deemed necessary by the Sponsor) R/T ground transfers between Hotel and Premiere. Specific dates of travel, air carrier(s), Hotel, and all other elements of the Grand Prize are at the sole discretion of Sponsor or its designee(s).  Important Note: the possible opportunity to walk the “red carpet” portion of the prize is subject to availability and conditions and circumstances at time of Premiere (and is determined at the sole discretion of Universal Studios Licensing LLC or its designee) and as such is not a guaranteed portion of the prize. In the event that the opportunity to walk the “red carpet” portion of the prize is not made available to the Grand Prize winner, the remainder of the Grand Prize as stated herein shall be considered to be the complete and total Grand Prize to be awarded and no additional prize element substituted. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $3,500.

If the Premiere is canceled or delayed, the remaining elements of the Grand Prize (as detailed above) shall constitute the complete and total Grand Prize to be awarded.  There is no monetary value to the attendance at the Premiere portion of the Grand Prize. Grand Prize winner must be able to travel on dates necessary to attend the Premiere (as determined by Sponsor) or the Grand Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and no additional prize element substituted and an alternate winner may be selected at sole discretion of Sponsor.  If Grand Prize winner lives within 150 miles of NYC (as determined by Sponsor), airfare will not be provided and no ground transportation or additional compensation will be provided in lieu thereof.

(2) First Prizes: each “First Prize” consists of a $250 Buckle e-Gift Card; a $50 Fandango e-Gift Card; and a Fast & Furious films 1-7 DVD Bundle Pack.  ARV of each First Prize is $400.

(5) Second Prizes: each “Second Prize” consists of a $100 Buckle e-Gift Card; a $25 Fandango e-Gift Card; and a Fast & Furious 7 iTunes digital download. ARV of each Second Prize is $140.

(40) Third Prizes: each “Third Prize” consists of a $50 Buckle e-Gift Card and a Fast & Furious 7 iTunes digital download. ARV of each Third Prize is $65.

Total retail value of all prizes: $7,600.

Prizes consist of only the items specifically listed as part of the prize. Buckle Gift Cards are redeemable for Buckle merchandise only and have no cash value.

GENERAL RULES: Any attempt by any participant to enter by using multiple accounts of the same Social Media Platform, email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that participant’s Entries and that participant may be disqualified, at the sole discretion of Sponsor.  Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, stolen, damaged, misdirected or illegible Entries. 

All U.S. federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. Potential Grand Prize winner will be required to execute and return a notarized Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form and IRS #W-9 form within 10 days of notification. Grand Prize winner’s Guest (or Grand Prize winner if Grand Prize winner’s Guest is considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence) will also be required to execute and return a notarized Release of Liability form with this same 10-day deadline.  Noncompliance within this time period or return of any prize/offer notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate potential winner will be selected. Winners may make no substitution or transfer of his/her prize. Buckle reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Buckle disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system or wireless device resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information connected with this sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, or fraud beyond control of Buckle, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, Buckle reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. In such event, prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible online entries received prior to such termination. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, BUCKLE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute regarding any entry, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry (i.e., the natural person who is assigned to an email address by the organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address).  A potential winner may be requested to provide Buckle with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the entry will be deemed ineligible. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to Buckle and its agencies to use winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without approval or further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to hold Sweepstakes Entities, Twitter, Instagram, Snap Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, shareholders, members and employees (collectively, the “Releasees”) harmless against any and all claims and liability resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of any prize. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in this Sweepstakes or use or misuse of any prize.

MISCELLAENOUS: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision of the Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision. Entrants agree to waive any rights to claim ambiguity of these Official Rules. Headings are solely for convenience of reference and will not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of the documents or any provision hereof. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials, privacy policy or terms of use on the Entry Site or Social Media Platform and/or the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.

NO INJUNCTIVE RELIEF: EACH ENTRANT UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT HE/SHE SHALL HAVE NO RIGHT TO ENJOIN OR RESTRAIN THE DEVELOPMENT, PRODUCTION, ADVERTISING, PROMOTION, DISTRIBUTION OR EXPLOITATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THE PICTURE, OR ANY OTHER PROJECT OF SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES OR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES.
