Official Sweepstakes Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. Sweepstakes Name: LYT Shade Giveaway
2. Sponsor: Light Your Top, 324 Saturnia Dr., Georgetown, TX 78628, support@lightyourtop.com. The Sponsor is responsible for the administration of the Sweepstakes.
3. Eligibility:
   • The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States (including the 50 states and Washington, D.C.) who are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their state of residence at the time of entry.
   • Employees, officers, and directors of Light Your Top, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and household members are not eligible to participate.
   • The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
4. Entry Period:
   • The Sweepstakes begins on April 25, 2025, at 9:00 AM Eastern Time and ends on April 27, 2025, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (the “Entry Period”).
   • Entries received before or after the Entry Period are void.
5. How to Enter:
   • To enter, visit [Your Sweepstakes Landing Page URL, e.g., www.lightyourtop.com/giveaway] during the Entry Period and complete the entry form by providing your full name, valid email address, and phone number.
   • Limit one (1) entry per person, per email address, and per phone number during the Entry Period. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
   • Entries generated by automated means, bots, scripts, or other fraudulent methods are void.
   • By entering, you agree to receive marketing communications from Light Your Top via email and/or SMS. You may unsubscribe at any time without affecting your entry.
6. Prize:
   • Grand Prize: One (1) winner will receive a $100 gift card to Light Your Top.
   • Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $100 USD.
   • No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of the prize is permitted, except at Light Your Top’s sole discretion. Light Your Top reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
   • All federal, state, and local taxes, duties, or fees associated with the prize are the winner’s sole responsibility.
7. Winner Selection and Notification:
   • One (1) winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period on or about April 28, 2025.
   • The winner will be notified via the email address and/or phone number provided in the entry form within 48 hours of the selection.
   • The winner must respond within 48 hours of notification to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond within the specified time, fails to comply with these rules, or is deemed ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected at Light Your Top’s discretion.
   • The winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and, where permitted, a Publicity Release within 7 days of notification to receive the prize.
8. Odds of Winning:
   • Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
9. Publicity:
   • By entering, you grant Light Your Top permission to use your name, likeness, and entry information for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
10. Use of Data:
    • All personal information collected, including email addresses and phone numbers, will be used for Sweepstakes administration and marketing purposes in accordance with Light Your Top’s Privacy Policy [link to your privacy policy, e.g., www.lightyourtop.com/privacy].
    • By entering, you consent to receive marketing communications from Light Your Top. You may opt out at any time without affecting your entry.
11. General Conditions:
    • Light Your Top reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Light Your Top’s control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes.
    • Light Your Top is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, or misdirected entries, or for any errors or failures in the entry process.
    • Any attempt to deliberately damage the Sweepstakes or undermine its legitimate operation is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Light Your Top reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of Liability:
    • By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Light Your Top, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, loss, injury, or damage resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
    • Light Your Top is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize.
13. Disputes:
    • Except where prohibited, you agree that any disputes arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
    • Any legal action must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Williamson County, Texas.
14. Winner Announcement:
    • The name of the winner may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to 324 Saturnia Dr., Georgetown, TX 78628 within 30 days after the Entry Period ends, or by visiting [Your Sweepstakes Landing Page URL, e.g., www.lightyourtop.com/winner] on or after April 30, 2025.
