Rules

Promoter: This competition is promoted by Safair Operations (Proprietary) Limited, trading as FlySafair, (reg. no. 2007/032915/07) (“FlySafair”, “us”, “we” or “our”).

Competition Period: The competition runs from the 8^th November 2023 – 29^th November 2023 only. No entries will be accepted after 23h59 on 29^th November 2023.

Who Can Enter:
You are eligible to participate in this competition or promotion if:

• You are a natural person, at least 18 years old, and a permanent resident of South Africa, and
• You are NOT:
• A supplier of goods or services connected to this competition,
• A director, member, partner, employee, agent, or consultant to the Promoter, or any other entity directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by the Promoter,
• A family member (spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister) or business partner of the persons mentioned above.

How to enter: Navigate to the web-based entry form and supply the required details, to complete a first entry. Further entries may be earned by fulfilling certain actions outlined on the website such as, but not limited to, successfully referring other entries via social media or email, visiting our website, and sharing the promotion on social media.

Details of how to enter this the competition form part of the promotional terms and conditions as can be found on our website, www.flysafair.co.za . Upon entering the competition, you are deemed to have read and accepted all terms and conditions of the competition.

FlySafair reserves the right to modify the competition at any time without prior notice.

By supplying your own details via the competition entry you provide your consent to receive newsletter and marketing communications from FlySafair.

By entering the competition, you consent that your email details will be stored for marketing purposes. Any communication sent to you will have a clear opt-out option should you wish to unsubscribe from marketing communication from FlySafair.

Entry fees: Participation in the promotions or competitions is completely free, and no entry fees are required.

Prize: A brand-new Suzuki Celerio; and two (2) domestic return flights which includes airport taxes but excludes extras such as bags, priority boarding, changes, etc. The Prize will include a Suzuki Celerio GL plus registration of the vehicle.

Conditions of the Prize:

• The cost and arrangement of fuel and insurance of the prize is excluded,
• First Car Rental or the Promoter shall not be liable for any manufacturing faults, recalls, damage or loss of or to any vehicle once handed over to the winner,
• No colour selection may be made by the winner and the vehicle will be delivered as per what is available at the time.
• The Promoter may refuse to award the prize if entry procedures or these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices.

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

The prize will be handed over no later

Selection of Winner(s): The one (1) winner will be chosen randomly by lucky draw to be held no later than five (5) working days after the competition end date. FlySafair’s decision in selection of the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into with any competition participant other than the one (1) winner.

Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries, or entries sent through via agencies and third parties, will not be accepted. Participants must enter themselves when making their flight bookings.

Notification of Winner(s): The winner will be notified via phone and email within twenty-four (24) hours (South Africa Standard Time) of the competition's end date. The Promoter will attempt to contact the winner at least three (3) times, however if the Promoter is unable to contact the winner within the twenty-four (24) hours of the competition’s end date, the winner will forfeit his/her prize and the Promoter reserves the right to redraw such prize. The winners will be announced on the Promoter's Facebook page located at https://www.facebook.com/flysafair. The Promotor's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into with a competition participant other than the winners.

Prize Handover: the winner will be required to submit documentation for registration of the vehicle. The Prize will be can be collected no later than fourteen (14) working days after notification informing them that the car is registered and ready for collection. The winner will be required to present themselves at any First Car Rental branch closest to them in order to collect the Prize.

Forfeit: A winner(s) will forfeit his/her prize in the following situations:

• If they have already won a prize in this competition,
• If they fail to provide participant within twenty-four (24) hours of the request,
• If they are found to have breached any of the competition rules stated herein,
• If they fail to accept delivery of the prize after two delivery attempts by the Promoter, and
• If it is unlawful for the winner to receive the prize.

In case of a forfeit, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner from the remaining participants.

Use of participant and winner information: By participating in this competition, you consent to the use by FlySafair or a third party nominated by FlySafair of your participant information. You consent that your name and surname may be announced, posted and displayed on the FlySafair and in the case of the winner of the Suzuki Celerio, Suzuki Auto SA website, social media pages, and including the delivery of the prize to you. The winners may also be requested to participate in marketing activities, including having his/her photograph taken or being filmed, but he/she will be entitled to decline to do so. The participant will not be entitled to any form of remuneration as a result of FlySafair so using his/her participant information.

Unforeseen events: In the event of any unforeseen circumstances or any causes beyond FlySafair’s reasonable control, FlySafair at its sole discretion reserves the right to cancel this competition, amend the rules, or change the prize at any time without notice to you. Should any unforeseen event occur that may render the prize draw or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of FlySafair, no liability whatsoever shall be attributable to FlySafair.
