WORLD OF FILSON GIVEAWAY

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER (OR THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR STATE OF RESIDENCE, WHICHEVER IS OLDER) AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.

THE WORLD OF FILSON GIVEAWAY IS A GAME OF CHANCE. WINNERS ARE SELECTED BY RANDOM DRAWING. NO SKILL, SUBMISSION, ESSAY, PHOTOGRAPH, OR OTHER CONTENT IS EVALUATED, JUDGED, OR SCORED IN CONNECTION WITH THE SELECTION OF ANY WINNER.

1. BINDING AGREEMENT

By entering the World of Filson Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”), you fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules. If you do not agree to these Official Rules, do not enter.

These Official Rules are the complete and exclusive statement of the terms governing the Sweepstakes. In the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and any Sweepstakes advertising, marketing, packaging, point-of-sale material, email, SMS message, social media post, or other communication, these Official Rules control.

2. SPONSOR AND ADMINISTRATOR

Sponsor: C.C. Filson Co., 1741 First Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134 (“Sponsor” or “Filson”).

Administrator: ViralSweep, LLC, P.O. Box 953, Cheshire, CT 06410 (“Administrator”). The Administrator operates the entry platform, tracks entries, and conducts the random drawing.

Official Airline Partner: Alaska Airlines, Inc. (“Alaska Airlines”).

Official Lodging Partner: Populus Seattle (“Populus”).

Alaska Airlines and Populus are prize providers and promotional partners only. Neither is a sponsor, co-sponsor, or administrator of the Sweepstakes.

3. ELIGIBILITY

3.1 Who May Enter. The Sweepstakes is open only to natural persons who, at the time of entry, are (a) legal residents of, and physically located in, one of the fifty (50) United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) or the District of Columbia, and (b) at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older. Residents of Alabama and Nebraska must be at least nineteen (19) years of age. Residents of Mississippi must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

3.2 Excluded Territories. The Sweepstakes is not open to residents of Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, any other United States territory or possession, any United States military installation or diplomatic post located outside the fifty (50) United States, or any location outside the United States.

3.3 Excluded Persons. Employees, officers, directors, members, managers, contractors, and agents of Sponsor, Administrator, Alaska Airlines, Populus, each Experience Provider identified in Section 9.3, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies, fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), and the immediate family members (defined as spouse, domestic partner, parent, legal guardian, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members (whether or not related) of any of the foregoing, are not eligible to enter or win.

3.4 Compliance With Law. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Entrants are responsible for compliance with any employer policy, professional obligation, or government ethics rule restricting acceptance of gifts or prizes. If an entrant is barred from accepting a prize by any such policy or rule, the entrant must decline the prize and an alternate winner may be selected.

4. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on October 13, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on November 30, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). All entries must be submitted during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible.

For all online entry methods, the Administrator’s computer system is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes and its clock will be the sole determinant of whether an entry was submitted within the Sweepstakes Period. Online entries submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period are void.

Mail-in entries submitted under Section 5.6 are an exception to the foregoing. A mail-in entry is timely if it is postmarked during the Sweepstakes Period and is received at the address stated in Section 5.6 by the receipt deadline stated in that Section, even if it is received after the Sweepstakes Period has closed. The United States Postal Service postmark, and not the Administrator’s clock, governs the timeliness of a mail-in entry.

5. HOW TO ENTER

There are seven (7) ways to receive entries into the Sweepstakes. Six of the seven methods are completely free. Purchase is never required, and purchasing will not improve your chances of winning. A free alternate method of entry is described in Section 5.6 and awards entries equivalent to those available through any other method.

Entries are awarded per person, not per email address, phone number, device, or account. All entries are pooled together into a single drawing pool. Each entry received is one (1) chance to win.

5.1 Method A: Email Subscription (FREE). Awards Ten (10) Entries

Visit the official Sweepstakes entry page at www.filson.com/pages/world-of-filson-giveaway and submit the entry form, including a valid email address, to subscribe to the Filson email newsletter. You will receive ten (10) entries.

• Limit: one (1) email subscription entry per person for the entire Sweepstakes Period.
• Individuals who were already subscribed to the Filson email newsletter before the start of the Sweepstakes Period will receive the same ten (10) entries upon completing the entry form. Prior subscribers are neither advantaged nor disadvantaged.

5.2 Method B: SMS Subscription (FREE). Awards Ten (10) Entries

Through the entry platform, visit Filson’s text message sign-up page, provide a valid United States mobile telephone number and affirmatively consent to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Filson. You will receive ten (10) entries.

• Limit: one (1) SMS subscription entry per person for the entire Sweepstakes Period.
• Individuals who were already subscribed to Filson text messages before the start of the Sweepstakes Period will receive the same ten (10) entries upon completing this method.
• Consent to receive marketing text messages is not required to enter or to win the Sweepstakes, and is not a condition of any purchase. You may enter and win without providing a mobile telephone number.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5.3 Method C: Refer a Friend (FREE). Awards Ten (10) Entries Per Qualified Referral

After entering, you will receive a unique referral link. You will receive ten (10) entries for each Qualified Referral.

A “Qualified Referral” means a person who (a) is eligible under Section 3, (b) has not previously entered the Sweepstakes and was not previously subscribed to the Filson email newsletter, (c) completes a valid entry under Section 5.1 using your unique referral link, and (d) confirms a valid, deliverable, and unique email address.

• Limit: ten (10) Qualified Referrals per person, for a maximum of one hundred (100) entries through this method.
• You may share your referral link only with individuals you personally know who have consented to receive it. You may not post your referral link to spam forums, sweepstakes aggregator sites, paid traffic sources, or bulk distribution lists, and you may not send unsolicited commercial email or text messages containing your referral link.
• Self-referrals, referrals to addresses you control, referrals using disposable or temporary email services, and referrals generated by bot, script, or automated means are void.
• Sponsor and Administrator reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to void any or all referral entries and to disqualify any entrant they reasonably believe has violated this Section.

5.4 Method D: Qualifying Purchase. Awards Five (5) Entries

Place an order at Filson.com during the Sweepstakes Period that includes at least one hundred fifty dollars (US $150.00) in Qualifying Merchandise, using the same email address associated with your entry. You will receive five (5) entries for one (1) Qualifying Order.

“Qualifying Merchandise” means Filson merchandise, valued at the net price actually paid for that merchandise after application of any discount, markdown, promotion, or promotional code. Merchandise purchased at a discounted price qualifies at its discounted price. The following are excluded from the $150.00 calculation and do not qualify: gift cards and e-gift cards; sales tax; shipping, handling, and duties; gift wrap; repair, restoration, and alteration services; third-party marketplace, wholesale, corporate, employee, and bulk orders; and any order placed with an employee, friends-and-family, or trade discount.

• Limit: one (1) Qualifying Order per person, for a maximum of five (5) entries through this method. If the entries for a Qualifying Order are voided under this Section, a later Qualifying Order placed during the Sweepstakes Period may qualify.
• Entries are awarded only after the order has been placed and payment has been captured. Entries may take up to seventy-two (72) hours to appear. If you place a Qualifying Order before you enter the Sweepstakes, the entries will be added before the Drawing Date.
• Returns, refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks void the associated entries. If a return, refund, cancellation, or chargeback reduces a Qualifying Order below $150.00 in Qualifying Merchandise, the five (5) entries associated with that order will be voided. If the voiding occurs after a winner has been selected and that winner’s selection depended on the voided entries, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify the winner and select an alternate.
• Purchasing does not increase your chances of winning relative to a person who uses the free alternate method of entry described in Section 5.6.

5.5 Method E: Instagram (FREE). Awards Three (3) Entries

Visit Filson’s Instagram page (@filson1897) through the entry platform. You are invited, but not required, to follow the account. You will receive three (3) entries.

• Limit: one (1) Instagram entry per person for the entire Sweepstakes Period.
• An Instagram account is not required to enter or to win. See Section 5.6.
• This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, you release Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any and all responsibility and liability arising from or relating to this Sweepstakes. You are providing your information to Sponsor and Administrator, and not to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

5.5A Method G: Shopping Preference Question (FREE). Awards Three (3) Entries

Through the entry platform, answer one (1) multiple-choice question about whether you shop for men’s, women’s, or both men’s and women’s Filson products. You will receive three (3) entries.

• Limit: one (1) shopping preference entry per person for the entire Sweepstakes Period.
• There is no right or wrong answer. Answers are not judged, scored, ranked, or evaluated, and have no effect on your chances of winning other than the three (3) entries awarded for answering.
• Your answer may be added to your Filson customer profile and used to personalize the marketing communications you receive, as described in Section 17.

5.6 Method F: Free Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE). Awards Ten (10) Entries Per Mail-In Entry

To enter without subscribing to email or SMS, without following any social media account, and without making any purchase, hand-print your full name, complete mailing address (including city, state, and ZIP code), email address, telephone number, and date of birth on a plain 3” x 5” card and mail it in a hand-addressed #10 envelope with proper first-class postage affixed to:

World of Filson Giveaway AMOE Entry
Attn: Zach Solomon
C.C. Filson Co.
1741 First Avenue South
Seattle, WA 98134

Each valid mail-in entry received will be awarded ten (10) entries.

• Limit: one (1) mail-in entry per outer envelope. Mechanically reproduced, photocopied, bulk-mailed, metered, or automated entries are void. Envelopes containing more than one card will be treated as a single entry.
• There is no limit on the number of separate mail-in entries a person may submit, other than the aggregate limit set forth in Section 5.7. This method alone allows any person to reach the maximum number of entries permitted under these Official Rules without subscribing to email or SMS, without following any social media account, and without making any purchase.
• Mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than November 30, 2026 and received no later than December 7, 2026, which is before the Drawing Date identified in Section 7.1.
• Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, postage-due, or damaged mail.
• Entries received through this method are pooled with all other entries and have exactly the same chance of winning as any other entry.

5.7 Aggregate Entry Limit

Regardless of the method or combination of methods used, and including all entries received through the free alternate method of entry in Section 5.6, no person may receive more than one hundred thirty-one (131) total entries into the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period. Entries received in excess of this limit will be void.

For clarity, the maximum number of entries available through Sections 5.1 through 5.5A combined is one hundred thirty-one (131). Any person may reach the one hundred thirty-one (131) entry maximum using the free alternate method of entry in Section 5.6, alone or in combination with any other method, without making any purchase.

Any attempt by any person to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple or false email addresses, telephone numbers, identities, accounts, registrations, addresses, payment methods, proxy servers, VPNs, bots, scripts, macros, or any other automated or fraudulent means will void that person’s entries and may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes at Sponsor’s sole discretion. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.

6. [RESERVED]

7. WINNER SELECTION

7.1 Random Drawing. On or about December 9, 2026 (the “Drawing Date”), the Administrator will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be conducted by computer using a random selection algorithm, under the supervision of the Administrator, an independent third-party promotions administrator engaged by Sponsor. The decisions of Sponsor and Administrator are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. No entry, answer, or other content is reviewed, evaluated, scored, or ranked at any point in the selection process.

7.2 Order of Selection. Prizes will be awarded in the following order:

• The first (1st) entry drawn will be the potential Grand Prize Winner.
• The next ten (10) entries drawn will be the potential Second Tier Prize Winners.
• The next twenty (20) entries drawn will be the potential Third Tier Prize Winners.
• The next thirty-one (31) entries drawn will be alternates, held in the order drawn. Alternates will be used in the order drawn to replace any potential winner in any tier who is disqualified, forfeits, declines, or cannot be verified. An alternate who replaces a potential winner receives the prize associated with the tier of the potential winner being replaced.

7.3 One Prize Per Person and Per Household. A maximum of one (1) prize will be awarded per person and per household during the Sweepstakes. If an entry belonging to a person or household already selected is subsequently drawn, that entry will be disregarded and the drawing will continue. Household means all individuals who reside at the same residential address for at least three (3) months during the Sweepstakes Period, whether related or unrelated.

7.4 Odds. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. There are thirty-one (31) prizes available to be won.

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION

8.1 Notification. Potential winners will be notified by email at the address associated with the entry within three (3) business days after the Drawing Date. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for undeliverable notifications, including notifications routed to spam, junk, promotions, or quarantine folders, or blocked by any filter.

8.2 Response Deadline. Each potential winner must respond to the notification within five (5) business days of the date the notification is sent. Failure to respond within this period will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.

8.3 Required Documentation. Each potential winner will be required to execute and return, within ten (10) calendar days of the date the documents are sent to the potential winner by Sponsor or Administrator, an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, except where prohibited by law, a Publicity Release, together with an IRS Form W-9 providing a valid United States Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number. The potential Grand Prize Winner’s travel companion (the “Guest”) must also execute a Liability Release and, except where prohibited by law, a Publicity Release, before travel.

8.4 Verification. All potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules before any prize is awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to require proof of identity, age, and residence in a form satisfactory to Sponsor, including a valid government-issued photo identification. A potential winner is not a winner unless and until eligibility has been verified and all required documentation has been received and accepted by Sponsor.

8.5 Disqualification and Alternates. If a potential winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within the required period, fails to return required documentation, declines the prize, is found ineligible, is found to have violated these Official Rules, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and forfeit the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected from the alternate list in the order drawn. Sponsor is not obligated to award any prize that is forfeited if all reasonable attempts to award it have been exhausted.

9. GRAND PRIZE (TIER 1): THE FILSON EXPERIENCE

One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded.

The Grand Prize is a trip for the Grand Prize Winner and one (1) Guest to Seattle, Washington and the surrounding Pacific Northwest, consisting of the following:

9.1 Travel and Lodging

Airline, routing, carrier, class of service availability, and travel dates are determined solely by Sponsor. If the Grand Prize Winner resides within two hundred fifty (250) miles of Seattle, ground transportation may be substituted for air transportation at Sponsor’s sole discretion, with no additional compensation.
• Four (4) days and three (3) nights of standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations at Populus Seattle in Pioneer Square, Seattle, Washington (one room, two persons). Room type, category, and hotel are determined solely by Sponsor.
• Round-trip ground transportation between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and the hotel, and between the hotel and scheduled Sweepstakes itinerary activities.

• A guided walkthrough of Filson manufacturing, workshop, and archive facilities, subject to operating schedule and safety requirements.

• A guided personal shopping experience at the Filson flagship store with a Filson personal shopping guide, and a Filson gift card in the amount of one thousand dollars (US $1,000.00).
• In-store customization and monogramming on eligible items, subject to availability and to Filson’s standard customization terms.
• One (1) custom Mackinaw Cruiser, made from fabrics selected by the Grand Prize Winner from a list of fabrics designated as available by Sponsor at the time of selection. See Section 10.5.

9.3 Pacific Northwest Experiences The Grand Prize Winner will select two (2) experiences for the Grand Prize Winner and Guest from the following list, subject to availability, scheduling, weather, safety requirements, and applicable minimum age and physical condition requirements imposed by the applicable Experience Provider:

• Knife-making experience at Lawless Forge
• Glass blowing experience at a Seattle-area glass studio selected by Sponsor
• Approximately two (2) hour private tugboat trip through the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks into Puget Sound
• Float plane trip to the Captain Whidbey Inn for dinner
• Guided fishing trip with a licensed fishing guide service selected by Sponsor

Each provider of an experience is referred to as an “Experience Provider.” Experience selections must be submitted to Sponsor no later than sixty (60) days before the scheduled travel dates. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute an experience of comparable or greater value if any selected experience becomes unavailable for any reason, with no additional compensation.

9.4 Meals Meals expressly identified in the written itinerary provided by Sponsor. All other meals, food, beverages, snacks, and alcohol are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner and Guest. Alcoholic beverages are not included in the Grand Prize and will not be provided to any person under twenty-one (21) years of age.

9.5 Grand Prize ARV Total ARV of the Grand Prize: $12,000.00. Actual value may vary based on point of departure, travel dates, market rates, and availability. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value of the Grand Prize as awarded will not be awarded in cash or in any other form.

10. GRAND PRIZE CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS

10.1 Travel Window and Scheduling. Travel must occur during June 2027 on specific dates determined solely by Sponsor. Sponsor will provide the Grand Prize Winner with the scheduled dates no later than ninety (90) days before departure. If the Grand Prize Winner or Guest is unable or unwilling to travel on the dates designated by Sponsor for any reason, the Grand Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and no substitute prize, cash equivalent, or compensation of any kind will be awarded. Sponsor has no obligation to reschedule.

10.2 Guest Requirements. The Guest must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in the Guest’s state of residence, whichever is older, at the time of travel, and must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia. The Guest must travel on the same itinerary as the Grand Prize Winner, on the same dates, to and from the same destination. The Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for the conduct of the Guest and for ensuring the Guest’s compliance with these Official Rules and with all Experience Provider and lodging requirements. The Grand Prize Winner may not substitute the Guest after thirty (30) days before departure without Sponsor’s prior written consent.

10.3 Third-Party Age and Eligibility Requirements. Certain elements of the Grand Prize are provided by third parties who impose their own minimum age, identification, physical condition, health, sobriety, credit card, insurance, waiver, and conduct requirements, including without limitation hotel check-in policies, aircraft and watercraft operator requirements, fishing license requirements, and alcohol service laws. If the Grand Prize Winner or Guest is unable to access, participate in, or complete any element of the Grand Prize because of any such third-party requirement, that element will be forfeited without substitution, refund, cash equivalent, or compensation of any kind.

10.4 Travel Documentation. The Grand Prize Winner and Guest must each possess, at the time of travel, valid government-issued photo identification that satisfies all federal requirements for domestic commercial air travel, including the REAL ID requirement. Obtaining compliant identification is the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner and Guest. Failure to present compliant identification will result in forfeiture without compensation.

10.5 Custom Mackinaw Cruiser. The custom Mackinaw Cruiser is made to order. The Grand Prize Winner must select fabrics from the list of fabrics designated as available by Sponsor and must submit those selections, along with sizing and fit specifications, within thirty (30) days of Sponsor’s written request. Fabric availability is not guaranteed and is determined solely by Sponsor. Production and delivery are subject to Filson factory scheduling, capacity, and material availability. No production, completion, or delivery date is guaranteed. Sponsor will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver the garment within six (6) months of the Grand Prize Winner’s fabric and sizing selection but is not obligated to do so. If Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, that production is not feasible, Sponsor may substitute a Filson garment of comparable or greater retail value, or a Filson gift card of comparable or greater value, with no additional compensation. The custom Mackinaw Cruiser is made to the specifications submitted by the Grand Prize Winner and is final sale, non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.

10.6 Filson Gift Cards. All Filson gift cards awarded as part of any prize are subject to Filson’s standard gift card terms and conditions in effect at the time of issuance. Gift cards are redeemable only for Filson merchandise, are not redeemable for cash except as required by law, cannot be reloaded or resold, and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed.

10.7 Confidentiality of Unreleased Product. The Grand Prize Winner and Guest will be given access to unreleased Filson product, designs, and business information. As a condition of receiving the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize Winner and Guest must each execute a confidentiality agreement in a form provided by Sponsor and must not photograph, record, disclose, publish, or post any unreleased product, design, or business information without Sponsor’s prior written consent. Breach of this obligation entitles Sponsor to all remedies available at law or in equity.

10.8 Content Capture. Sponsor intends to photograph and record the Grand Prize experience. As a condition of receiving the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize Winner and Guest must each consent, except where prohibited by law, to being photographed, filmed, and recorded, and to Sponsor’s use of that content as described in Section 13. Sponsor may schedule content capture sessions as part of the itinerary and the Grand Prize Winner and Guest must reasonably cooperate.

10.9 Expenses Not Included. All costs and expenses not expressly identified in Section 9 as included are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner and Guest, including without limitation: transportation to and from the departure airport; baggage fees and overweight or excess baggage charges; seat upgrades and fare class changes; airport parking; passports and identification documents; ground transportation not on the itinerary; meals, beverages, alcohol, and snacks not on the itinerary; hotel incidentals, minibar, room service, telephone, internet, resort or destination fees, and any required credit card authorization or deposit; gratuities; personal and souvenir purchases; travel insurance; medical expenses; fishing licenses and permits; clothing and personal equipment; and all federal, state, and local taxes as described in Section 12.

10.10 No Substitution or Transfer. The Grand Prize is awarded “AS IS” and “WHERE IS,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Grand Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable, and non-exchangeable, and may not be sold, auctioned, bartered, or offered for resale. No cash equivalent or substitution is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize or prize element of comparable or greater value if the advertised prize or element becomes unavailable, for any reason, in whole or in part. Unused portions of the Grand Prize have no cash value and will be forfeited.

10.11 Airline and Lodging Terms. All air travel is subject to the applicable conditions of carriage, tariffs, and terms of Alaska Airlines. All lodging is subject to the applicable terms and policies of Populus. Neither Sponsor nor any Promotion Entity is responsible for any cancellation, delay, rescheduling, overbooking, diversion, equipment change, service disruption, act of God, weather event, labor action, government action, health advisory, or other event that affects travel or lodging. Frequent flyer miles, loyalty points, elevated tier credits, or similar benefits will not be awarded in connection with any air travel or hotel stay provided as part of the Grand Prize.

11. SECOND TIER AND THIRD TIER PRIZES

11.1 Second Tier Prizes. Ten (10) Second Tier Prizes will be awarded. Each Second Tier Prize consists of the winner’s choice of one (1) of the following: (a) one (1) Filson Mackinaw Wool Cruiser Jacket, or (b) one (1) Filson Tin Cloth Short Lined Cruiser Jacket. Size and color are subject to availability and are determined by Sponsor. Each Second Tier Prize winner must submit size and color preferences within fourteen (14) days of Sponsor’s written request; failure to do so permits Sponsor to select on the winner’s behalf or to substitute a Filson gift card of comparable value. Second Tier Prizes are final sale and are not returnable, exchangeable, or refundable. ARV of each Second Tier Prize: $599.00. ARV of all Second Tier Prizes: $5,990.00.

11.2 Third Tier Prizes. Twenty (20) Third Tier Prizes will be awarded. Each Third Tier Prize consists of one (1) Filson gift card in the amount of one hundred fifty dollars (US $150.00), subject to Section 10.6. ARV of each Third Tier Prize: $150.00. ARV of all Third Tier Prizes: $3,000.00.

11.3 Total ARV of All Prizes. The total ARV of all thirty-one (31) prizes offered in the Sweepstakes is $20,990.00.

12. TAXES

All federal, state, and local taxes, and any other costs, fees, or expenses associated with the acceptance, receipt, and use of any prize, are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner. Prizes are reported at their ARV as determined by Sponsor.

Any winner who receives prizes with an aggregate value of six hundred dollars (US $600.00) or more in a calendar year will be issued an IRS Form 1099-MISC reporting the ARV of the prize, and a copy will be filed with the Internal Revenue Service and, where applicable, with state tax authorities. Each such winner must provide a valid United States Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number on IRS Form W-9 as a condition of receiving the prize. Failure to provide a completed and accurate Form W-9 within the period specified in Section 8.3 will result in disqualification and forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected.

Winners are strongly encouraged to consult a tax advisor. The Grand Prize is a substantial non-cash prize and will generate a federal income tax liability that must be satisfied by the Grand Prize Winner. Sponsor does not provide tax advice and will not pay any winner’s tax liability.

13. PUBLICITY RELEASE

Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes each entrant’s consent, and each winner’s and Guest’s consent, to Sponsor’s and its designees’ use of the entrant’s, winner’s, or Guest’s name, city and state of residence, voice, statements, photograph, likeness, image, video, biographical information, and social media handle for advertising, marketing, publicity, promotional, and trade purposes, in any and all media now known or later developed, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further notice, review, approval, attribution, or compensation of any kind.

Where consent to the foregoing is required as a condition of receiving a prize and applicable law prohibits conditioning a prize on such consent, Sponsor will award the prize without requiring the consent. Residents of Tennessee and any other state whose law so provides are not required to grant this consent as a condition of winning.

14. GENERAL CONDITIONS

14.1 Right to Modify, Suspend, or Terminate. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the Sweepstakes, or any portion of it, at any time, if Sponsor determines that the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as planned or that its integrity or proper administration has been or may be compromised by any cause, including without limitation infection by computer virus, bug, worm, or malicious code; tampering; unauthorized intervention; fraud; technical failure; software or hardware malfunction; network or platform outage; act of God; natural disaster; pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergency; war; terrorism; civil disturbance; labor dispute; government action; or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the scheduled Drawing Date, Sponsor will, if feasible and if permitted by applicable law, select winners in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received before the time of termination. Notice of any modification, suspension, cancellation, or termination will be posted at www.filson.com/pages/world-of-filson-giveaway.

14.2 Disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it determines, in its sole discretion, has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or any website; has acted in violation of these Official Rules; has acted in an unsportsmanlike, disruptive, abusive, threatening, or harassing manner; has provided false, inaccurate, or misleading information; or has acted with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

14.3 Not Responsible For. The Promotion Entities are not responsible for: lost, late, incomplete, illegible, damaged, garbled, misdirected, stolen, or postage-due entries or mail; entries not received for any reason; telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, internet, computer, or other technical or human errors, failures, delays, or malfunctions of any kind; interrupted or unavailable network, server, internet service provider, website, or other connections; miscommunications; failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone, or cable transmissions; any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, or line failure of any telephone network, computer equipment, or software; the inability to access any website or online service; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries; data that is processed late or incorrectly or is incomplete or lost due to any reason; printing, typographical, or other errors in these Official Rules or in any Sweepstakes-related materials; or any combination of the foregoing.

14.4 Entry Property. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.

14.5 Interpretation. In the event of a printing, typographical, administrative, or other error in these Official Rules or in any Sweepstakes-related material, including an error in the number of prizes or the stated odds, Sponsor reserves the right to correct the error and to award the correct number of prizes. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. Entrants waive any right to claim ambiguity in these Official Rules.

15. RELEASE, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

15.1 Release. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant, and each winner and Guest, releases, discharges, and holds harmless the Promotion Entities and each of their respective officers, directors, members, managers, shareholders, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, losses, damages, injuries, costs, and expenses of any kind, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, arising out of or relating in any way to: participation in the Sweepstakes; the entry process; the awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion of any prize; travel to or from, or participation in, any prize-related activity; any personal injury, bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage or loss; any claim of defamation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or infringement of intellectual property; and any printing, typographical, or administrative error.

15.2 Assumption of Risk. THE GRAND PRIZE INCLUDES ACTIVITIES THAT ARE INHERENTLY DANGEROUS AND THAT CARRY A RISK OF SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, PERMANENT DISABILITY, AND DEATH. These activities may include, without limitation, air travel on commercial aircraft and on small float aircraft; travel on watercraft in open and inland waters; metalworking and knife-making involving open flame, extreme heat, forged steel, and cutting tools; glass blowing involving molten glass, furnaces, and extreme heat; guided fishing involving moving water, watercraft, and hooks; and touring an active manufacturing facility containing industrial machinery.

By accepting the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize Winner and Guest each knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly assume all risks associated with these activities, whether known or unknown, and whether arising from the ordinary negligence of any Released Party or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. The Grand Prize Winner and Guest must each execute any additional waiver, release, medical disclosure, or assumption of risk agreement required by any Experience Provider. Refusal or inability to execute any such document will result in forfeiture of the affected element or of the entire Grand Prize, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, without substitution or compensation.

The Grand Prize Winner and Guest are each solely responsible for maintaining their own health, travel, accident, and medical insurance. No such insurance is provided as part of any prize.

15.3 Limitation of Liability. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ANY RELEASED PARTY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR ANY PRIZE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT ANY RELEASED PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Nothing in these Official Rules limits or excludes liability for fraud, or for personal injury or death caused by a Released Party’s gross negligence or willful misconduct, where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

16. DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW

16.1 Governing Law. These Official Rules and all matters arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to any choice-of-law or conflict-of-law rule that would cause the application of the laws of any other jurisdiction.

16.2 Venue. Each entrant irrevocably consents to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes, and waives any objection to such jurisdiction or venue, including any objection based on forum non conveniens.

16.3 Individual Claims Only. ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING RELATING TO THE SWEEPSTAKES.

16.4 Limitation on Recovery. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EACH ENTRANT AGREES THAT ANY RECOVERY IS LIMITED TO THE ENTRANT’S ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED IN ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, NOT TO EXCEED TEN DOLLARS (US $10.00), AND THAT NO ENTRANT MAY RECOVER ATTORNEYS’ FEES OR OTHER COSTS OF PROSECUTING ANY CLAIM, OR ANY PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of certain damages, so the foregoing may not apply to all entrants.

16.5 Waiver of Injunctive Relief. Except where prohibited by law, each entrant waives any right to seek to enjoin or restrain the operation, development, production, distribution, advertising, or exploitation of the Sweepstakes or of any content, program, or product arising from it.

17. PRIVACY AND DATA

17.1 Use of Information. Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at www.filson.com/policies/privacy-policy, and to Administrator’s privacy practices. Personal information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, award and fulfill prizes, comply with legal and tax obligations, and, where you have consented, to send you marketing communications by email and SMS. In the event of a conflict between the Privacy Policy and these Official Rules with respect to the Sweepstakes, these Official Rules control.

17.2 Withdrawal of Marketing Consent. You may unsubscribe from Filson email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, and from Filson SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. Unsubscribing does not affect your entries or your eligibility to win.

17.3 California Notice of Financial Incentive. For California residents, the Sweepstakes constitutes a “financial incentive” program under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended.

• Material terms: In exchange for providing your email address, and optionally your mobile telephone number, name, postal address, date of birth, Instagram handle, shopping preference, and purchase history, you receive entries into the Sweepstakes for a chance to win one of thirty-one (31) prizes with a total ARV of $20,990.00, as described in these Official Rules.
• How to opt in: Submit the entry form at www.filson.com/pages/world-of-filson-giveaway or use the free alternate method of entry in Section 5.6.
• How to withdraw: You may withdraw at any time by emailing customerservice@filson.com with the subject line “Withdraw from World of Filson Giveaway.” Withdrawal will void all of your entries. Unsubscribing from Filson email or SMS marketing is not a withdrawal from the Sweepstakes and does not affect your entries.
• Good-faith estimate of value: Sponsor has calculated the value of the personal information collected by dividing the total ARV of all prizes offered ($20,990.00) by the number of participants Sponsor anticipates (approximately 50,000). Sponsor’s good-faith estimate of the value of an individual entrant’s personal information is approximately $0.42.
• Why the incentive is permitted: Sponsor believes this value is reasonably related to the value of the personal information provided, because the personal information is used to administer the Sweepstakes and to provide marketing communications that the entrant has elected to receive.
• California residents retain all rights under applicable California privacy law, including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing, as described in the Privacy Policy. Exercising the right to delete your personal information before the Drawing Date will void your entries.

17.4 Other State Privacy Rights. Residents of other states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws have the rights described in the Privacy Policy. Requests to delete personal information submitted before the Drawing Date will void the associated entries.

18. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM DISCLAIMERS

18.1 Instagram and Meta. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, each entrant completely releases Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any and all liability arising from or relating to the Sweepstakes. Entrants provide their information to Sponsor and Administrator, and not to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

18.2 Alaska Airlines and Populus. Alaska Airlines is the Official Airline Partner and Populus is the Official Lodging Partner of the Sweepstakes. Each is a prize provider only and is not a sponsor, co-sponsor, or administrator of the Sweepstakes. By entering, each entrant releases Alaska Airlines and Populus from any and all liability arising from or relating to the Sweepstakes and any prize.

18.3 Experience Providers. Each Experience Provider is an independent third party and is not a sponsor, co-sponsor, or administrator of the Sweepstakes. By entering, each entrant releases each Experience Provider from any and all liability arising from or relating to the Sweepstakes and any prize.

20. MISCELLANEOUS

20.1 Severability. If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any respect, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

If Section 16.3, Section 16.4, or Section 16.5 is held invalid or unenforceable as to any claim or any entrant, that Section is severed as to that claim or that entrant only, and Sections 16.1 and 16.2 survive in full force and effect. Sections 16.1 and 16.2 are independent of Sections 16.3 through 16.5 and are not conditioned on their enforceability.

20.2 No Waiver. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other provision.

20.3 Entire Agreement. These Official Rules constitute the entire agreement between each entrant and Sponsor with respect to the Sweepstakes and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, communications, and materials relating to the Sweepstakes.

20.4 Registration. This Sweepstakes has been registered and bonded in the States of New York and Florida, and registered in the State of Rhode Island, where required by law.
