Eligibility: The Outrigger Resorts 70^Th Anniversary Share Your Story Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is only open to permanent legal residents of the fifty (50) states of the U.S., the District of Columbia (“D.C."), and Canada (excluding the province of Quebec, Canada; Guam; Puerto Rico; and all other U.S. foreign territories and possessions) who are currently physically located and residing therein. All entrants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and have online access as of the date of entry into the Sweepstakes. Entrants must also have either a valid Social Security number, Social Insurance Number, or an Individual Tax Identification Number. Employees of Outrigger® Hotels Hawaii ["Outrigger Hotels Hawaii or any affiliate ("Outrigger")] (“Sponsor”), Enteractive Solutions Group, Inc. (“Sweepstakes Administrator”), their advertising or promotion agencies, those involved in the production, development, implementation, or handling of the Sweepstakes, any agents acting for, or on behalf of the above entities, their respective parent companies, officers, directors, vendors, subsidiaries, franchisees, affiliates, licensees, service providers, prize suppliers, or any other person or entity associated with the Sweepstakes (collectively “Sweepstakes Entities”) are ineligible to enter this Sweepstakes.  Immediate family members (i.e. a spouse, domestic partner, child, sibling, or parent) and/or any person, whether related or not, living in the same household of an individual affiliated with a Sweepstakes Entity are also ineligible to enter this Sweepstakes.

Sweepstakes Description: This Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM HST on March 26, 2018 and ends at 11:59:59 PM HST on April 16, 2018 (“Sweepstakes Period”). For all purposes of this Sweepstakes, the Website’s (defined below) computer is the official clock and all times refer to Hawaii Standard Time (“HST”). This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Instagram. All information provided by entrants in this Sweepstakes is being provided to the Sponsor and not to Instagram. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws.

How to Enter: You may enter the Sweepstakes by using the methods described below:

During the Sweepstakes Period, visit the Sweepstakes website located at www.outrigger.com/70thSweepstakes ("Website”). Once there, complete the registration process by providing the following information (“Online Entry”): Your complete first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, zip code/postal code, share your favorite memory at Outrigger or where you’d like stay on your next Outrigger getaway (“Memory”), opt-in agreeing to the Sweepstakes Terms and Conditions and to receive future promotional offers from Sponsor, confirmation that you are eighteen (18) years of age older and a resident of the U.S. or Canada (excluding Quebec), and confirmation that you agree to the Sweepstakes Official Rules and Sponsor’s Terms of Use (collectively, “Entry Information”).

After submitting an Online Entry, entrants will be prompted to complete the following actions in order to obtain additional entries into the Sweepstakes:

Gain four (4) bonus entries by uploading a photo from a favorite Outrigger stay you previously had or find an Outrigger Hotels photo of where you would like to stay on your next Outrigger getaway (“Photo”) along with a short caption (“Photo Bonus Entry”). 

Gain one (1) additional bonus entry by following Sponsor on Instagram by clicking on the “Follow us on Instagram” link which will enable entrants to “Follow” the Sponsor on Instagram (“Instagram Bonus Entry”). If you are an existing Instagram follower, you will receive an Instagram Bonus Entry by clicking the “Follow us on Instagram” link.

Gain one (1) additional bonus entry by checking out the Sponsor’s Anniversary Specials by clicking on the link provided (“Anniversary Special Bonus Entry”).  

Gain two (2) additional bonus entries for each friend you refer who enters the Sweepstakes by providing an email address of a friend at the prompt and clicking the “SEND” button (“Referral Bonus Entry”). Entrant’s friend will be sent an email about the Sweepstakes on the entrant’s behalf and said Entrant will only receive a Referral Bonus Entry if his/her friend successfully enters the Sweepstakes using the referral link received.  Entrant can refer up to five (5) friends and earn a total of up to ten (10) Referral Bonus Entries. Entrant may only submit an email address from someone with whom he/she has an existing relationship, he/she knows personally, and to whom an email sent from the Sponsor on entrant’s behalf would not be considered spam and who meets the eligibility requirements for the Sweepstakes as described above.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entry that does not adhere to the below criteria, that is not reasonably pertinent to the Sweepstakes, or is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion. In addition, any Photo (including caption) and/or Memory submitted must not: 1) contain or depict any objectionable, unlawful, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, threatening, abusive, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, or vulgar material and must be otherwise fit for publication/posting/uploading, as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion; 2) contain any material that would give or threaten to give rise to criminal or civil liability, encourage conduct that constitutes a criminal offense, encourage or provide instructional information about illegal activities, or encourage acts of violence or dangerous stunts/behavior; 3) contain any references to alcohol, tobacco, drug paraphernalia, firearms, or any description or representation thereof; 4) include obscenities or other objectionable material that defames or invades the publicity or privacy rights of any person (living or deceased), or that otherwise infringes upon any third party's personal or proprietary rights, as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion; 5) disparage the goodwill or business reputation of Sponsor; 6) refer or contain the likeness, similarity, or face of any person other than the entrant; and 7) have been previously entered in any competition or contest or won any award prior to submission in this Sweepstakes, and must not have been previously published, performed, or otherwise exhibited professionally.

All required Entry Information must be completed in full, be accurate, current, and valid. The Entry Information received must match the information of the entrant that completed the act of physically entering the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) Online Entry, four (4) Photo Bonus Entries, one (1) Instagram Bonus Entry, one (1) Anniversary Special Entry, and ten (10) Referral Bonus Entries (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Entry” or “Entries”) per person/e-mail address. Sweepstakes Entries in excess of the stated limits will be disqualified. Any attempted form of entry other than as described herein is void.  Proof of submitting an Entry will not be deemed by Sponsor as proof of receipt or entry into the Sweepstakes. All Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM HST on April 16, 2018. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted. Except where prohibited by law or Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, participation in the Sweepstakes and/or acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use entrant’s first name, last name, city, state, likeness, image, biographical information, statement, video recording, Photo, caption, Memory, and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval. The Website may not be accessible from all mobile phones, handheld devices and/or tablets. If an entrant experiences any issues entering, he/she should access the Website from a desktop or laptop computer. If entrants use a web-enabled mobile device to participate, data rates may apply (entrants should contact their service provider for data rates/plans).  Entrants should use care and not drive while entering the Sweepstakes.

Prize/Odds of Winning: There will be one (1) prize awarded consisting of a trip for the winner and one (1) guest to Honolulu, Hawaii to attend Outrigger’s 70^th Anniversary Celebration (“Trip”). Trip will include: (a) roundtrip coach class air transportation for winner and guest to Honolulu, Hawaii; (b) five (5) nights oceanfront hotel accommodations (single room, double occupancy; room and tax only) with Voyager 47 Club Access at Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu, Hawaii; (c) Grill with Aloha dining experience for winner and guest at The Reef Bar & Market Grill; (d) a Turtle Canyon catamaran sail for winner and guest (date and time of catamaran sail to be determined by Prize Provider in its sole discretion; (e) a one-hundred ($100) USD gift certificate for Kani Ka Pila Grille awarded to the winner only; and two (2) admissions to the Outrigger Resorts Platinum Anniversary Party, currently scheduled for May 1, 2018. If the winner is unable to take the Trip to attend the Outrigger Resorts Platinum Anniversary Party, he/she will have until June 30, 2019 to complete the Trip without this component. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize: $6,405 USD. Odds of winning the prize depend on the total number of eligible Entries received during the entire Sweepstakes Period. 

Trip is subject to air travel and hotel availability, holiday and black-out dates, and all other prize and travel restrictions. Air transportation provided only if the winner resides more than one-hundred (100) miles from destination. Once determined, no change, extension or substitution of Trip dates is permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Once travel has been confirmed, any cancellation or change fees or restructuring of Trip are the sole responsibility of the winner. Gift certificate/voucher subject to stated terms and conditions. Activities are subject to availability. Winner and his/her guest will be required to have/present at least one (1) major credit card or debit card in good standing or make a cash deposit upon check-in at the hotel. Winner and his/her guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Sponsor reserves the right to award the Trip “as is” and to structure travel route in its sole discretion. The winner and guest are solely responsible for providing/obtaining all necessary identification and travel documents including passports and visas. In order to comply with the REAL ID Act, adult travelers carrying driver’s licenses from a select number of U.S. states may be required to present a valid U.S. passport to travel on a domestic commercial flight in addition to international travel. Failure to provide such documents may result in trip cancellation upon airport check-in. Items not specifically mentioned as being included as part of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner and his/her guest including, but not limited to, taxes, tips, travel insurance, room service, laundry service, unspecified meals, entertainment, ground transportation, baggage fees, hotel incidentals, local and long distance telephone calls or other communications, mobile phone roaming fees, internet or wireless services, gratuities, personal items, government fees, applicable custom fees, and all other costs and expenses not otherwise mentioned herein. If the winner chooses to take the Trip and/or attend an activity without the allotted guest, the remaining elements of the prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsor’s prize obligation to winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. If winner and/or guest fail to appear in a timely manner for a scheduled activity, as determined by Sponsor or Prize Provider, in their sole discretion, said scheduled activity may be forfeited and no additional compensation will be awarded. The Trip restrictions/conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive and may be subject to additional restrictions/conditions, which may be stated in the Affidavit/Release (described below) and or winner’s travel documents. No cash equivalent for prize (or prize element) will be available. Prize is not transferable, however, Sponsor may (in its sole discretion) may choose to substitute the prize (or prize element) for one of equal or greater value due to prize unavailability or for any other reason. Prize and prize documentation will be sent to an address only within the fifty (50) states of the U.S., D.C., and Canada (excluding Guam, Puerto Rico and all other U.S. foreign territories and possessions of the U.S. and the province of Quebec). All federal, state, provincial, or other tax liabilities (including but not limited to income taxes for U.S. winners or U.S. withholding taxes for Canadian winners, if applicable) arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or award of the prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner. If winner is resident of the U.S., he/she will be issued an IRS Form 1099 from the Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee for the total ARV of the prize won (as stated herein) in the calendar year the prize was won. Any depiction of prize (or prize element) in Sweepstakes materials or otherwise, are for illustrative purposes only. Winner shall be solely responsible for any and all federal, state, provincial, local, or other taxes arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or awarding of prize including, without limitation, income taxes. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for delays in delivery of prize (or prize element). Final eligibility for the award of the prize is subject to eligibility verification in writing as set forth below. Sweepstakes Administrator is not the guarantor of the prize (or prize element).

Drawing and Notification of Winner: The potential winner will be randomly selected on or about April 17, 2018 in a drawing to be held from among all eligible Sweepstakes Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period by Sweepstakes Administrator in Statesboro, GA. Potential winner will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail (at the telephone number and/or e-mail provided in his/her Entry) within one (1) to two (2) business days after the drawing date. If a Canadian resident is selected as a potential winner, he/she must correctly answer a time based mathematical skill-testing question administered during the telephone notification to be eligible for the prize. The potential winner will be required to return a completed, signed, and unmodified official affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, and (except where prohibited) publicity release (collectively, "Affidavit/Release"), provide a legible copy of his/her government-issued photo identification, and complete any other documentation required by Sponsor in its sole discretion, within two (2) days after receipt of such notification. Potential winner will also be required to fax the completed Affidavit/Release to Sweepstakes Administrator within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of these documents by potential winner. Faxed documents have the same force and effect as the original documents. By returning the completed Affidavit/Release, winner attests to the provisions stated therein including the accuracy of the information contained therein and compliance with these Official Rules. If the potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted, if he/she is found to be ineligible, if Canadian and he/she cannot correctly answer the time based mathematical skill-testing question; if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, or if his/her prize documents are returned as undeliverable, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected (in Sponsor’s sole discretion) from all remaining Sweepstakes Entries received.

General Conditions: This Sweepstakes is governed by these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations. The winner’s guest will be required to complete, sign and return a Liability Release, a Publicity Release, provide a legible copy of his/her government-issued photo identification, and complete any other documentation that Sponsor and/or Sweepstakes Administrator requires (“Guest Release”) within two (2) days after receipt by the potential winner. Guest will also be required to fax the completed Guest Release to Sweepstakes Administrator within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of these documents. Faxed documents have the same force and effect as the original documents. If the guest is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian will be required to sign the Guest Release on his/her behalf. If the guest is from a state that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian, and such person must be the winner. Entrant unconditionally assigns and transfers to Sponsor all rights, title, interest, and claim, which he or she now has, or may in the future have to his/her Entry. Entrants grant Sponsor the non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable rights to use, reproduce, copy, publish, display, distribute, perform, translate, adapt, modify, and otherwise exploit the Entries and to incorporate them in other works in any and all markets and media, whether now known or hereafter developed, throughout the universe in perpetuity.  Entrants warrant that they have the exclusive right to grant such rights to Sponsor, and that the Sponsor's reproduction, publishing, displaying, and/or other use of the Entry will not infringe on any rights of third parties, including, but not limited to, copyright, trademark, privacy, personal, proprietary, or publicity rights, anywhere in the world.   Entrants agree that Sponsor shall have no obligation to copy, publish, display, or otherwise exploit the Entry.  By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes, or the Sweepstakes itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Sponsor and/or the Sweepstakes Administrator, whose decisions are binding and final in all respects. By accepting the prize, winner attests to the authenticity of his/her winning Sweepstakes Entry. Unless provided otherwise by Sponsor’s privacy policy, located at http://www.outrigger.com/privacy-policy and where permitted by law, participation and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities to use winner’s first name, last initial, address (city and state/province), Photo, caption, Memory, photo, likeness, video recording, biographical information, statement and voice for advertising/publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media (including posting on the Website), in perpetuity, without further notice to or compensation in connection with said Sweepstakes and Outrigger Resorts Platinum Anniversary Party, and Sponsor has the right to modify, edit, adapt, electronically alter, use, assign and/or dispose of such Sweepstakes Entries however it sees fit and without any notice or compensation to entrant or any third parties. Personal information collected from Canadians will only be used for Contest administration purposes unless their express consent has been obtained beforehand. Any person attempting to defraud or tamper with the Sweepstakes will be subject to prosecution and is thereby ineligible. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes or any portion(s) thereof and conduct the Sweepstakes drawing from among all salvageable eligible Sweepstakes Entries received as of the termination date, if any, in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Notice of such action by the Sponsor will be posted on the Website as well as any applicable social media platforms. In case of a dispute over the identity of the entrant who submitted the winning Sweepstakes Entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with that Sweepstakes Entry will be deemed the entrant. Said owner must comply with these Official Rules, be the person who physically completed the act of entering, and, in Sponsor's sole discretion, may be required to provide proof of ownership of the e-mail account.

Disclaimers: Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for, and will deem ineligible, multiple Sweepstakes Entries in excess of the stated limit. Sweepstakes Entries that are entered by other than human means or mass Sweepstakes Entries (such as by an automated computer program or any non-human mechanism, entity, or device), or Sweepstakes Entries that are illegible, late, tampered with, forged, incomplete, misdirected, deleted, damaged, lost, misplaced, stolen, destroyed, dropped, inaccessible, corrupted, jumbled, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules will be disqualified. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree and acknowledge to be bound by all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Entrants waive any rights to claim ambiguity with the Official Rules. Sweepstakes Entities shall have no responsibility or liability (including, but not limited to, liability for any property loss, damage, personal or bodily injury or death) in connection with: participation in this Sweepstakes; human error; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Entry Information; acceptance/possession, use/misuse, and/or defects of the prize (or prize element) awarded herein; typographical errors in Sweepstakes promotional material; any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer online system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or internet service provider utilized by Sweepstakes; interruption or inability to access the Sweepstakes, the Website (or Sponsor’s/Sweepstakes Administrator’s inability to access content at the Website), or any website or online service via the internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems; wireless network dead zones or obstructions; any damage to entrant’s (or any third person’s) computer/mobile device and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of this Sweepstakes or from entering or downloading materials/software in connection with the Sweepstakes; any lost/delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects and/or any other errors or malfunctions; including but not limited to, in the case of Canadian winners, disputes over answers to mathematical skill-test questions; fraudulent (including unauthorized) gift certificate/voucher uses made with lost, stolen, misplaced, or misappropriated gift certificates/vouchers, incomplete (including inaccurate) gift certificate/voucher database information and canceled gift certificate/voucher uses; cancellations, delays and/or policies that may affect travel for a winner(s)/guest(s), or any change by the air carrier(s), lodging facilities, or other company or any other persons providing any components of the prize for the winner(s) and his/her guest(s) due to reasons beyond Sponsor’s and/or Sweepstakes Entities’ control even if caused by the negligence of one of the Sweepstakes Entities. Entrants hereby acknowledge that said Sweepstakes Entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to prize, including express warranties provided exclusively by a Prize Provider that are sent along with the prize.  Sweepstakes Entities shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity that may be caused by or have contributed to (1) any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of a Prize Provider (if applicable) or any of its agents, servants, employees, or independent contractors, (2) any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any other person or entity not an employee of Sponsor, or (3) any other cause, condition or event whatsoever beyond the control of Sponsor or its parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies. By entering, entrants and winner further agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities from and against any and all claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting or arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity including travel to and from departure airport and destination location. The failure of Sponsor to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of Sponsor (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations), or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.

DISPUTES: THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY, AND WILL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH, THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF HAWAII, AND THE FORUM AND VENUE FOR ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE IN THE U.S. CITY OF HONOLULU AND THE U.S. STATE OF HAWAII. IF THE CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM IS NOT OTHERWISE RESOLVED THROUGH DIRECT DISCUSSIONS OR MEDIATION, IT SHALL THEN BE RESOLVED BY FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION ADMINISTERED BY DISPUTE PREVENTION AND RESOLUTION INC., IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION. ALL PROCEEDINGS BROUGHT PURSUANT TO THIS PARAGRAPH WILL BE CONDUCTED IN THE U.S. CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU. THE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY PARTY BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES OR OTHER SUCH RELATED COSTS OF BRINGING A CLAIM, OR TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT OR SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR ANY OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF.

The Official Rules will be available on the Website during the entire Sweepstakes Period. The name of winner may also be posted on the Website.

This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. Entrants are providing information to Sponsor and not to Instagram. For any questions, comments or complaints about this Sweepstakes please address them to the Sponsor of this Sweepstakes and not to Instagram.
