Secret Strategist Giveaway: Win a Set of Heath Dinner Bowls

Secret Strategist Giveaway: Win a Set of Heath Dinner Bowls
Heath Ceramics, which has been producing pottery by hand in the Bay Area since 1948, makes some of our favorite dinnerware. Strategist senior editor Winnie Yang bought a vintage set in 2008 that she still uses every day; senior writer Michael Zhao recently bought the newly reissued studio mugs (as did I); and deputy editor Simone Kitchens owns vases from the brand. Last year, I bought a set of salad and dinner plates that I have been saving for a special occasion.
Most of Yang’s collection comes from the Coupe line, which she likes for its clean silhouette, the beautiful glazes it comes in (in both matte and glossy finishes), and the nice backdrop it provides for food. She has been steadily adding new pieces to her collection, and her most recent purchase was of the Coupe Dinner Bowl, which draws inspiration from Heath’s deep product archive. Yang was excited to see the new design, which is a better fit for grain bowls, certain salads, and some pasta dishes than the deeper, narrower cereal bowl or wide, flat dinner plates.
The Dinner Bowl was released earlier this fall in a limited collection of new glazes (turmeric, lemongrass, blossom) as part of a collaboration with Herman Miller. The bowls are also available in classic Heath colors like rosemary, butterscotch, and Tartine teal as well. We’ve partnered with Heath to give one Secret Strategist reader a set of four Coupe Dinner Bowls in the color of their choice. And yes, you can mix and match.
