Palen Music Blue Friday Giveaway – Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

1. Sponsor

The giveaway is sponsored by Palen Music, 1560 E. Raynell Pl., Springfield, MO 65804 (“Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.

3. Entry Period

The contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on September 17, 2026 and ends at 9:00 a.m. CT on November 27, 2026 (“Entry Period”).

4. How to Enter

During the Entry Period, visit the designated giveaway page on palenmusic.com and complete the entry form in full. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address during the Entry Period. Multiple entries from the same person/email will be void.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive one (1) Taylor 814ce Builder's Edition right-handed acoustic guitar, including a matching hard-shell carrying case. Approximate retail value (“ARV”): $4,999.

Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be substituted for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs not specifically stated are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

One (1) potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted and announced live on Sponsor’s Blue Friday YouTube livestream on November 27, 2026.

The potential winner will also be notified by email and/or phone within five (5) days of the drawing. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within seven (7) days of notification, or declines the prize, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternate by random drawing.

7. Prize Delivery

The winner must pick up the prize in person at a Palen Music Store location. Click here to see locations.

If in-store pickup is not possible, the winner may request shipment of the prize. In such case, the winner will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs. Sponsor is not responsible for loss or damage during shipping.

8. Publicity Release

By accepting the prize, the winner grants Sponsor the right to use their name, city/state, likeness, photo, and testimonial for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

9. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, website users, or tampering. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

10. Release of Liability

By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses of any kind arising out of participation in the giveaway or receipt/use of the prize.

11. Governing Law

The giveaway and these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflicts of law principles.

12. Marketing Communications

By entering, participants agree to receive marketing communications from Sponsor, including promotional emails and/or text messages. Participants may unsubscribe or opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the communications. Opting out will not affect eligibility for the giveaway.
