COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Promoters: This competition is promoted by Shift South (Pty) Ltd t/a SweepSouth known as the “the Promoter” in these terms and conditions.

Competition Period: The competition commences on 22 June 2022 and will terminate at midnight on 7 July 2022. No late entries will be accepted.

Who can enter: You are entitled to participate in this competition if (i) you are a natural person who is at least 18 years old residing in South Africa; and (ii) it is lawful for you to be awarded the prize. You may NOT participate if you are a supplier, directly or indirectly, of goods or services in connection with this competition, or if you are a director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to any of the Promoters or any other entity which directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoters, or if you are any of the aforementioned persons’ spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister or business partner.

Entry Fees: There are no entry fees to participate in this competition.

How many times can you enter: You may enter once. You will be eligible to receive additional entries when (a) you share with your friends and they successfully enter using your link and/or (b) visit the SweepSouth website (c) visit SweepSouth Instagram/or (d) Download SweepSouth App.

Prize Breakdown:

The prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash: The prize includes

• SweepSouth: R1000 SweepSouth Home Services Voucher
• AfriCamps: Win a 2-night stay for up to 5 people at any 1 of 13 AfriCamps Boutique Glamping locations across South Africa. (Transport, food and drinks are NOT included) 

Promo codes: You will receive a promo code for both SweepSouth and AfriCamps; the terms are as follows: 

• SweepSouth: R150 off - The offer is only valid for NEW (first-time users) of SweepSouth. The voucher may be used for indoor or outdoor and cannot be exchanged or refunded. 
• AfriCamps: 15% off - The discount code will be valid until 31 August 2022 and can be used at all camps for stays until 30 June 2023. The voucher may be used once per entrant and cannot be extended.  Ts & Cs Apply.

Prize Allocation: The award of the prize will be drawn at random on Friday, 8 June 2022.

The winner will be contacted by the Promoters via email (the address associated with you upon entering the competition). The winners shall respond within a reasonable time, failing which could lead to disqualification. The Promoters shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winner's spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for winners' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If a winner cannot be contacted after 3 attempts or was contacted but the winner fails to provide within a reasonable time any requested information, the Promoters reserve the right to draw a replacement winner. 

The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Once the winner is selected and contacted, all prize details and terms of use will be shared for each prize received by the Promoters. Transport and any other items not listed above are for the winner's own account. 

The selection of a winner and their prize is final and binding and no correspondence or negotiations will be entered into with a competition entrant.

Disqualification: Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions will disqualify the entrant from winning and a new winner will be selected.

Use of participant and winner information: By participating in this competition, you agree to subscribe to and receive newsletters from the Promoter. Any marketing material sent to you will have a clear opt-out should you wish to unsubscribe from correspondence with any of the Promoters. Winners agree that the Promoters may publish their names on their marketing platforms including the website, newsletter, and social media accounts. 

Unforeseen events: The Promoters, and their associated companies, agents, and contractors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, damage, death, personal injuries, defamation, invasion of privacy, or claims based on publicity rights arising in connection with this competition and/or promotional offer. No member of the Promoters is responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, internet or computer malfunctions, errors in transmission or any condition beyond the control of the Promoters which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted. On the occurrence of unforeseen events, the Promoters also reserve the right to cancel this competition, to change the number or nature of the prize at any time, provided it has been done on notice.
