ITYWEST – WIN ONE YEAR OF FREE INTERNET CONTEST 

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. 

The CityWest Win One Year of Free Internet Contest (the "Contest") begins on September 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. PDT and ends on October 1, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. PDT (the "Contest Period"). 

The Contest is sponsored and administered by:

("CityWest") 

1. Eligibility 

The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec, who: 

1. are at least the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry; 

2. reside at an address at which CityWest Home Office Hero Fibre Internet service (500 Mbps) is available, as determined by CityWest; and 

3. comply with these Official Contest Rules. 

Both existing CityWest customers and eligible non-customers may enter. 

Employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of CityWest, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to enter. 

CityWest reserves the right to verify eligibility, including age, identity, residency and service availability, at any time. 

2. How to Enter 

During the Contest Period, eligible participants may enter through the official CityWest contest page hosted through ViralSweep by completing and submitting the required entry form. 

Eligible participants may receive the number of additional entries specified on the official contest page by completing the applicable qualifying activities, subject to any limits and verification requirements identified on that page. 

No purchase is necessary to enter or win the Contest. 

Entries must be received during the Contest Period to be eligible. 

Entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, automated, generated by script or bot, submitted using false information, duplicated, or otherwise fail to comply with these Official Contest Rules may be disqualified in CityWest's sole discretion. 

3. Prize 

There is one (1) prize available to be won. 

The prize consists of standard monthly service charges for twelve (12) consecutive months of CityWest Home Office Hero Fibre Internet service (500 Mbps) at no charge, up to a maximum value of $104.00 per month, plus applicable taxes. The twelve (12) consecutive month prize period will commence on the date determined by CityWest following confirmation of the winner and, where applicable, activation of the Internet service. 

The approximate retail value of the prize is $1,248.00, plus any applicable taxes and standard installation and activation charges.   

The prize does not include: 

1. equipment not ordinarily included with the service plan; 

2. premium equipment options; 

3. service upgrades; 

4. optional add-ons; 

5. usage-based charges; 

6. in-home networking services; or 

7. any products or services not expressly included in the prize, including television, telephone or other services offered by CityWest. 

Any such costs remain the sole responsibility of the winner. 

The prize has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may not be sold, assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash except at CityWest's sole discretion and where required by law. 

If the Home Office Hero Fibre Internet package is discontinued, materially modified or unavailable, CityWest may substitute a substantially equivalent Internet service of equal or greater value. 

4. Winner Selection 

One (1) potential winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. 

The draw will take place on or about October 2, 2026 in British Columbia. 

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. 

5. Winner Notification 

CityWest will attempt to contact the selected entrant using the email address and telephone number provided with the Contest entry. 

CityWest will make one (1) contact attempt by email and one (1) contact attempt by telephone. 

The selected entrant must respond within three (3) business days of the first contact attempt. 

Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must: 

1. confirm compliance with these Official Contest Rules; 

2. provide any information reasonably required by CityWest for eligibility verification; 

3. correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by CityWest; and 

4. execute and return any required declaration, release or prize acceptance documentation within the time specified by CityWest. 

If a selected entrant: 

5. cannot be contacted; 

6. fails to respond within three (3) business days; 

7. answers the skill-testing question incorrectly; 

8. fails to provide requested information; 

9. is determined to be ineligible; 

10. resides at an address where CityWest Home Office Hero Fibre Internet service (500 Mbps) is not available, as determined by CityWest, or otherwise does not satisfy CityWest’s standard service requirements; or 

11. otherwise fails to comply with these Official Contest Rules, 

the selected entrant will be disqualified and forfeit the prize, and CityWest may select an alternate entrant from the remaining eligible entries. 

6. Application of Prize 

For existing CityWest Internet customers, the prize will be applied as a monthly credit to the winner's eligible Internet account for twelve (12) consecutive months, up to a maximum value of $104.00 per month, plus applicable taxes 

For non-customers, installation and activation are subject to the winner residing at an address at which CityWest Home Office Hero Fibre Internet service (500 Mbps) is available, as determined by CityWest, and the winner satisfying CityWest's standard service requirements. Standard installation and activation charges, if any, shall be included as part of the prize. 

Internet service provided under the prize remains subject to CityWest's standard customer agreements, acceptable use policies and applicable service terms. 

If the winner relocates during the prize period to another address at which CityWest Home Office Hero Fibre Internet service (500 Mbps) is available, the prize may continue at the new address for the remainder of the original twelve-month term, subject to service availability. 

If the winner relocates to an address at which CityWest Home Office Hero Fibre Internet service (500 Mbps) is not available, the remaining unused portion of the prize shall be forfeited, and no compensation, substitute service or cash payment shall be provided. 

7. Privacy 

Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used by CityWest for the purpose of administering the Contest, verifying eligibility, contacting entrants, selecting and confirming winners, and awarding prizes. The contest page is hosted through ViralSweep, which provides contest-platform services to CityWest and may process entrants’ personal information on CityWest’s behalf for the administration of the Contest. 

Where an entrant separately consents to receive marketing communications, CityWest may also use personal information for those purposes in accordance with applicable privacy and anti-spam laws. 

8. Publicity 

By accepting a prize, the winner agrees that CityWest may use the winner's name, city or community of residence, photograph, image, voice and statements relating to the Contest for publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law. 

9. Release and Limitation of Liability 

By entering the Contest, each entrant releases and holds harmless CityWest, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any liability arising out of or relating to participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize, except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. 

Without limiting the foregoing, CityWest is not responsible for: 

1. lost, late, incomplete, damaged, illegible or misdirected entries; 

2. technical failures of any kind; 

3. website, server, platform, hardware or software malfunctions; 

4. interrupted or unavailable network connections; 

5. transmission failures; 

6. errors in Contest administration; or 

7. any injury, damage or loss resulting from participation in the Contest or acceptance of the prize. 

10. Social Media Disclaimer 

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta, X, TikTok or any other social media platform used to promote the Contest. 

By participating, entrants release all such platforms from any responsibility relating to the Contest to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

11. General Conditions 

CityWest reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the Contest if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, system failures or any other circumstance beyond its reasonable control affects the proper administration, security, integrity or fairness of the Contest. 

CityWest reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, attempts to obtain entries through fraudulent means, violates these Official Contest Rules or interferes with the administration of the Contest. 

In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, CityWest may deem the entrant to be the authorized account holder of the email address submitted with the entry. 

All decisions of CityWest regarding the Contest, including eligibility determinations, winner selection and interpretation of these Official Contest Rules, are final and binding, subject to applicable law. 

The Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute relating to the Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia. 

12. Acceptance of Rules 

By entering the Contest, each participant acknowledges that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules.
