Submission Rules:
Prizes will be awarded to individuals or collaborative groups (of any age or nationality) who reside within the boundaries of the Americas (including Canada, the United States, Central & South America and the Caribbean). If selected to receive an award, US based applicants must provide a W-9 form that matches the name and address of the applicant, in order to process the payment of the award amount which would be included on the applicant’s 2021 tax-returns. Please note individuals may be considered for funding only once, as either a solo artist or as a part of an ensemble.
Submission Guidelines:
Individuals or collaborative groups of any age or nationality, who reside within the boundaries of the Americas (including Canada, the United States, Central & South America and the Caribbean), are invited to submit.
The focus of submissions should be exploration of how the artistic imagination conceives a memorial to this contemporary tragedy that transcends national borders.
Submissions can be created in any 2-D medium and any material, including but not limited to drawings, paintings, collage, etc. Artworks may also include text. Virtual submissions should be a photograph, scan or image of the original work. Physical artwork should be on one single-sided sheet of paper or board no larger than 1m x 1m (approximately 40in x 40in). Artwork may also be accompanied by a narrative of 300 words or less describing the work and any details about inspiration, materials used or additional context.
