My lawn is a combination of blue grass & fescue. I maintain my grass by doing my own mowing & fertilizer applications.. This year I began using Simple Lawn Solutions & have had great success in growing a rich green lawn.

I have a monostand perennial ryegrass lawn. This was the most challenging year yet, waking up at 2am to water the lawn through droughts just to keep it alive. I cut the lawn at 1/2” so keeping a lawn cut that short to begin with takes a lot of work. People see the green grass and patterns in it but truly do not understand how much work goes into a lawn cut at 1/2” all year long.

My lawn has come a long way from what it used to look like. Used to be thin with weeds but now it’s thick, lush and dark green. Thanks to simple lawn solutions for making such amazing products that helped make my lawn what is it now. (Btw mind the couple of poa spots I’ll be taking care of those soon lol)

I am in Southern Maine and this is my second full season with 365ss KBG. I use Simple Lawn Solutions such as Darker Green in conjunction with granular fertilizers in order to give the lawn an extra pop! A heathy lawn is the best defense against weeds and pests, so encouraging turf and root growth is my number one philosophy when it comes to my lawn!

Perennial Rye! Zapped the previous lawn 3 years ago and haven't looked back. Very fun grass to maintain! Ryan Knorr elite seed is what I used. Spoon fed with simple lawn solutions. HOC 1.5 inches.

My backyard is a blend of cool season fescues including Jaguar Tall and Artimuss. I use multiple SLS products throughout the season and always have great results. My wife says it’s time for my son to start cutting the grass. I disagree. Let’s go Blues!

Rules
2024 Lawn Contest Guidelines and Rules
We are holding our 2024 Lawn Contest! We will collect submissions through this application, where all entrants can upload their photos. This contest is open to anyone in the US who has a lawn. You do not have to be a Simple Lawn Solutions customer, we only ask that you follow our Instagram page so you can be updated on the progress of this contest. Please post your picture, that was taken within the past year.
How to Enter
Starting September 19th, submit your lawn photo to us along with our questionnaire. The lawn picture submission period will last from September 19th to September 26th. After the end date of September 26th, the contest will officially be closed to any new entries. September 26th will be the last day to enter the contest.
Voting Period
From September 27th through October 4th, all will be able to vote on the best lawn. You are encouraged to cast your vote based on the overall aesthetics, color, health, and neatness of the lawn in the picture. You can only vote once, so we recommend sharing the gallery link with as many friends and family as possible to obtain as many votes as possible. Voters must confirm their vote via a confirmation email sent to the email they provided when casting the vote, where they will be asked to enter a confirmation number.
Winners and Prizes
There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winners. The winners will be determined based on the number of votes their photo receives. The photo that collects the most votes will be the 1st place winner, and the next most will be awarded 2nd place, and so on. The winners will be announced Tuesday, October 8th.
