Two ways to win a U-Line appliance of your choice!

1. Fill in the contest entry form and upload a photo of your discontinued U-Line product with a brief description of when the product was installed to be entered to win. Share your photo with friends on Facebook or Twitter with hashtag #ulinecorpcontest, follow @ulinecorp on Instagram, or visit our website for bonus entries. The winner will be determined by U-Line based on the oldest running unit and the criteria and standards set forth below.

 2. Fill in the contest entry form. One random winner will be drawn.

RULES:

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE CONTEST OR BE AWARDED A PRIZE. Void where prohibited by law.

ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is offered only in the contiguous United States of America. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Entries from non-residents of the contiguous United States of America are ineligible. Employees of U-Line and the U-Line’s affiliates, the immediate families of such employees (employees' parents, siblings, children and spouses) and members of the same household of such employees are not eligible to enter the Contest.

CONTEST PERIOD/DEADLINE: The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on February 15, 2018 and ends at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on April 30, 2018 (the "Contest Period"). No entries will be received before the start of the Contest Period.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period entrants must correctly, truthfully and fully complete and/or answer all questions on the online registration form, fill in the contest entry form and upload a photo of your discontinued U-Line product with a brief description of when the product was installed to be entered to win. Follow @ulinecorp on Instagram, visit our website, or share your photo with friends on Facebook or Twitter with hashtag #ulinecorpcontest or otherwise indicate the post is related to this contest. Entries must be of a U-Line product that has been operated and maintained appropriately and continuously since installation, and the photos and accompanying text cannot defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about U-Line or its products, or other people, products or companies or communicate illegal, sexual, or other messages or images inconsistent with the positive image and/or goodwill to which U-Line in its sole discretion, wishes to associate. Only one entry per person per method of entry. Multiple registrations via one form of entry may result in ineligibility to receive the Contest's prizes, at U-Line’s discretion.

No correspondence or contact other than that specified in these Official Rules will be accepted as an entry in the Contest. All entry information becomes the property of U-Line. Entrants retain all ownership rights to their submitted photographs except for the license granted to U-Line described below.

SELECTION OF WINNERS:  There are two separate winners, 1) the qualifying entry, which, in U-Line’s sole discretion, is associated with the longest operating U-Line product. U-Line shall have the right to request additional information and/or documentation from any entrant in order for U-Line to make its determination regarding this prize; 2) one winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries on or after May 1, 2018.    

PRIZE: The winner in each category will be able to select one (1) item from U-Line’s North American product line at  http://www.u-line.com.  The maximum retail value of each prize is $4,489. U-Line will deliver the product. Winner is responsible for installation.   

Winning entrants will be notified by email at the email address provided as part of the entry.   If a prize notification e-mail is returned or deemed undeliverable, or if the winner is found to be ineligible or fails to comply with these Official Rules, U-Line may decide, in its discretion, that the winner has forfeited the prize and an alternate winner of that prize will be selected from eligible entrants for the prize.

 Within 14 days of the date of notification to the prize winner, winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and Publicity Release. Failure to comply with this requirement will cause the prize(s) to be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize shall constitute and signify the winner's consent that U-Line may use the entry, winner's name, likeness, image, voice, photographs, biographical information and address (city and state), and written statements made by the winner about the Contest and U-Line, for promotional purposes, in all forms of media, in perpetuity, and without monetary payment or additional consideration.

ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning any prize depends on the number of valid entries.

TRANSFERABILITY/TAXES: All prizes are non-transferable and are not exchangeable for cash. All prize winners will be solely responsible for all taxes (federal, state and/or local) and any expenses not specified related to acceptance and use of the prize.

CONDITIONS: U-Line is not responsible for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operations or transmissions, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of, or failure of U-Line to receive entry information on account of human or technical problems in any combination thereof. U-Line reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel the Contest in its entirety or modify the Contest as it sees fit if it becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention. The Contest is subject to these Official Rules. By entering: (a) participants agree to these Official Rules, the decisions of U-Line, which shall be final and binding in all respects, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Contest or these Official Rules; (b) participants release U-Line, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, representatives, vendors, and such persons' directors, officers, employees and agents as well as Instagram, Facebook and/or Twitter from any and all liability for any claims, injuries, losses, costs or damages of any kind caused by participation in the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prizes; and (c) PARTICIPANTS ACKNOWLEDGE THAT U-LINE AND OTHER RELEASED ENTITIES AND INDIVIDUALS HAVE NEITHER MADE, NOR ARE IN ANY MANNER RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE PRIZES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THEIR QUALITY, MECHANICAL CONDITION, OR FITNESS.  PRIZES COME WITH U-LINE’S STANDARD LIMITED WARRANTY.  U-Line may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning any prize if in its sole discretion it determines that the entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other participants or U-Line's agents or representatives.

WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE U-LINE OR U-LINE'S WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, U-LINE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

USE OF REGISTRATION INFORMATION/PHOTOS: By completing the Contest's Internet Registration forms, the entrant grants U-Line the right to use the information provided on the forms, and to contact the entrant by e-mail, telephone, mail, certified mail or fax. By submitting photographs in connection with the Contest, each entrant grants U-Line a non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, print, publish, disseminate and publicly display the submitted photograph in connection with the promotion, marketing and sale of U-Line's products. Such license shall be perpetual, worldwide, transferable and royalty-free.

GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES: This Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.  Any and all disputes, claims and actions arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by binding arbitration.  Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorney’s fees, or punitive, special or consequential damages.
