OUTRIGGER Waikīkī Beach Resort: Social Media Story Submission & Grand Prize Sweepstakes

Official Terms & Conditions

By submitting a story, photo(s), video(s), or other content ("Submission") to OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group ("Sponsor"), you agree to the following Official Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

The OUTRIGGER Waikīkī Beach Legacy Story Submission & Grand Prize Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of jurisdictions where such promotions are permitted by law who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry.

Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members of Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective household members are not eligible to participate.

Void where prohibited by law.

2. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. HST on July 24, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. HST on September 24^th , 2026 ("Promotion Period").

All entries must be received during the Promotion Period to be eligible.

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

3. How to Enter

To enter, complete the official submission form and submit your story during the Promotion Period.

Entrants may also enter by completing the official entry form without submitting a story. Such entries shall have an equal chance of winning.

Automated entries (including but not limited to bots or other automated methods) are prohibited.

Limit one (1) Grand Prize entry per person. Additional submissions may be featured by Sponsor but will not increase an entrant’s odds of winning.

4. User-Generated Content

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the creator and owner of the Submission or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to submit it.
• Any identifiable individuals appearing in your Submission have granted permission for their likeness to be used.
• Your Submission does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights of any third party.
• Your Submission does not contain unlawful, defamatory, offensive, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate material.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove or disqualify any Submission that violates these Terms & Conditions or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.

5. License to Use Submitted Content

By submitting your Submission, you grant Sponsor and its affiliates a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, display, perform, modify, edit, translate, distribute, create derivative works from, and otherwise use your Submission, in whole or in part, in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to:

• Social media
• Websites
• Digital advertising
• Print advertising
• Marketing campaigns
• Public relations materials
• Email communications
• Video productions
• Promotional materials

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Sponsor is under no obligation to use your Submission.
• Sponsor may edit or adapt your Submission for formatting, marketing, or promotional purposes.
• You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished use of your Submission.
• Sponsor may combine your Submission with other materials.
• No compensation, royalties, or additional approval will be provided for Sponsor’s use of your Submission, except where required by law.

6. Grand Prize

One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive:

• Three (3) consecutive nights for two (2) guests in a Club Ocean View room at OUTRIGGER Waikīkī Beach Resort, redeemable for stays between January 1, 2027 and December 31, 2027, subject to availability and applicable resort policies.
• Dinner for two (2) at Duke’s Waikīkī up to $200.
• One (1) canoe surf session for two (2) guests on Waikīkī Beach.
• Two (2) round-trip Hawaiian Airlines/Alaska Airlines VTA vouchers valid for travel for two (2) guests between the U.S. Mainland and Hawaiʻi. The vouchers may be redeemed from any city served by Hawaiian Airlines or Alaska Airlines, subject to applicable airline terms and conditions, route availability, capacity controls, and blackout dates.

Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $7,000 USD.

The Grand Prize does not include any costs or expenses not expressly listed above. Winner and guest are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, airfare-related fees, baggage fees (if applicable), airport transfers, ground transportation, travel insurance, gratuities, incidental expenses, and all other costs associated with redeeming the prize.

Air transportation is provided pursuant to the terms and conditions applicable to Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines VTA vouchers. Sponsor is not responsible for airline delays, cancellations, schedule changes, route changes, or other matters relating to airline operations.

Reservations at OUTRIGGER Waikīkī Beach Resort must be made in advance and are subject to availability, blackout dates, and resort policies. The prize must be redeemed and travel completed within the applicable redemption period stated above.

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, has no cash value, and may not be substituted or exchanged except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Any unused portion of the prize will be forfeited.

Winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes.

7. Winner Selection & Notification

One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

The potential winner will be notified using the contact information provided at the time of entry. The potential winner must respond within the timeframe specified by Sponsor and may be required to complete and return an eligibility verification and liability/publicity release (where permitted by law) before being confirmed as the official winner.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required timeframe, is found to be ineligible, or does not comply with these Official Terms & Conditions, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.

8. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates these Terms & Conditions, or acts in a disruptive manner.

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

9. Privacy

Information collected through the Sweepstakes will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy practices and applicable laws. By entering, participants consent to Sponsor’s collection and use of their information for Sweepstakes administration and related communications.
