I didn't have much success on the inside of the refrigerator detox simply due to work commitments. However, I was successful in decluttering the outside of the refrigerator.

It was a wonderful experience. To get everything clean, organized and to also buy with intent not to waste. Everything was done so that I could save and being on disability this is super important to me. I feel great, better than I imagined. Everything is meant for the week. Anything that could be eaten a little longer than that has a label on the top of container. It was fun doing it, now I feel I have accomplished something big and so can take on anything else that needs doing like reorganizing closets and cupboards. Thanks Jaden and team for your hard work and for all your support. Jo

Work in Progress Added clear bins for the small condiments glass jars and another bin for the children candy (First Shelf); Larger glass jars, see thru container for eggs [need to buy another see thru egg container] (middle shelf); worked on clearing out the bottom and lined with clear shelfing plastic to have easier clean up in case of spills. All drawers are clean and has items in its designated drawers. Refrig door has clear bins for more jar condiments and small packages of liquid condiments.

I really enjoyed the challenge. It cleaned out a lot of wasteful things we weren't using at all. The fridge got a through cleaning too and it smells and looks great. I liked all the tips and ideas.

This was wonderful for my whole family. We are no longer afraid to look for food. It is great knowing what and where everything is and that nothing is expired. It makes meal planning a snap! I feel we our saving money by using what we have on hand. Taking inventory helps prevent buying too much of something and soon I will no longer need a shelf dedicated to mustard!

I was surprised to what was in the fridge. A lot of cheese. I used up some heavy cream and milk and made macaroni and cheese. Also used up the left over sausage and ribs I found in a delicious soup. A great way to use up what you have available. My bottom cripee tend s to freeze thinga so I put my whole wheat flour, flax seed and hemp hearts in there. I didn't start until Saturday as I was working nightshift on at the beginning of the challenge. It took me a bit long er as our furnace quit on Friday afternoon and no repair I til Monday. Having a clean organized fridge and freezer makes me so happy. Hard to explain, but until I did this project, I didn't realize how much the mess and clutter inside my fridge was draining me. It was hard to believe how much stuff I had to throw out. Shocked to see how I jam packed stuff into my tiny freezer, only to throw a lot of it out this past week. I am now going to try to be purposeful and intentional about what goes into my fridge. Make meal plans based on what I have insted of going out to buy more things.

I had a picture but it got corrupted in the Camera so my camera is now useless, So I have no photo to upload to this challenge, sorry, Hopefully on the next fridge detox challenge I'll have a better camera! So I uploaded the Picture from our Recent Runners-Up position in the World Bread Awards The KItchen is actually the commercial kitchen we used to lease space in!

I deep cleaned my fridge, which was very necessary and then put stuff in zones. I threw out old/expired food (wasn't much) and made a plan on the upkeep by getting some bins (soon!) to further organize!

This is my before picture, the detox was not as major as I expected. Tossed a couple items. A few items were moved to different bowls so leftovers could be zoned together and a jar of jelly didn't survive. Still need to find labels so I can put day 5 to work for me.

It's been great to get some peace of mind after having a cluttered fridge for a while. I feel more confident that there will be less waste now, as it'll be easier to see and find items inside. Also, I'm glad it was a step-by-step process and wasn't overwhelming.

Because of the pandemic I was unable to buy the containers I required but I did the best I could with what I had. I did keep my workbooks and and will continue to follow this life lesson. Thank you!

I cook protein-based dishes on Sundays. I moved the almond milk after I took this photo as well. I was surprised to have two kitchen catcher bags with expired condiments and unknown/unlabeled powders! I am so grateful just to have this contest to motivate me to clean the fridge (fortunately, it wasn't too unclean this time).: I usually avoid cleaning the fridge in winter because I am cold already!

Our shared fridge was an unorganized hodgepodge of leftovers, duplicates, expired and rotted food, a total disaster. We followed the tips in the challenge and found ourselves feeling more in control and so much better about what was in our fridge and where we kept it. The cleanser recipe worked like a charm!

It was an awesome event! I started eating healthier so I was able to get rid of things that don’t belong in there and aren’t part of my eating plan. I ditched all the items with sugar. I also have more room in my fridge and it looks more organized. More user friendly. Thanks for hosting this event! Exactly what I needed.

I have been working on using up what I found in the fridge and freezer since day 1 and so far I have made the pork burgers (which turned out to be to freezer burned for human consumption) into treats for our dog because he is like Mikey...he'll eat anything! and 4 daily meals for my hubby and myself along with his week lunches for the week! How freeing is it to know that I am no longer going to let food and money go to waste! 😃 Thanks Jaden for starting this to get us all back on track. ❤

FAMILY APPLAUDS ! Thank you for Inspiring me to finally after soooo long, organizing and having everything that goes into my fridge to have a "home". I'm not big on leftovers, or having science projects way back there in the back of the fridgerator . so I try hard at cooking the right amount. Now things are not wedged in. You have inspired me to go further...today my lingerie drawer is beautiful, no more wondering if the knee socks are navy or black...I know now....they have a special home. I have another plan for tomorrow, soon I'll stop saying, " I found it in the last place I looked !".

I enjoyed this 5 day fridge detox challenge. I need to get some labels, different bins and some fruit/vegetable bags to store my fruits/Vegis in the crisper. This is a good start. I am going to detox my freezer next. Thanks for doing this!

My intentions were good until this week went to he** in a handbasket. But I've saved all the "tools" and posts so I can tackle this next week. Better late then never...... However, I DEFINITELY will be jumping into preparing the Buddha Bowls starting today!

I had fun with this! Both fridge and freezer are cleaned and mostly organized now. I need to buy some bins for things that don’t go into the ready bins at the bottom. I decided to take a picture of the outside because it shows my meal planning sheet, shopping list and and a calendar which is also of importance in keeping organized. Also my “In Case of Emergency” note (known as an ICE).. For people living alone especially, it is important to know that Emergency responders are trained to look at refrigerators for important documents like ICE sheets and that should you be unable to communicate with an EMT for any reason (say, you have breathing/ coughing problems) they can look at your info you write for them letting them know your name, medications, doctors, chronic issues and so forth.

Detoxing the Fridge (and Freezer) was enlightening. I had always tried to clean the fridge at least once a year, but had not in the past year. I also cleaned the outside of the fridge it it looks brand new. Makes me not want to touch the handle for fear of getting it dirty. LOL, but I do, I am just extra cautious now. I do share the fridge with my sister, so the right half is mine, although I did clean the entire fridge, Sadly, not sure she noticed as she has not commented. But the outcome is very pleasing and now I am inspired to do more cleaning in the Kitchen. Thanks for the Challenge and I will be looking for more to come.

Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.
