Batalá Washington is an all-women Afro-Brazilian music band with the mission of empowering women through drumming and exposing people to Brazil’s Afro-Bahian culture and Samba Reggae music. tw_user 52 Weeks

Day Nursery of Abilene, This year, our board of directors chose the theme of #InMyDNAEra for our fundraising campaigns starting in the spring. They met together on stage at a venue to "stage" in performance mode of #InMyDNAEra. We produced a video, etc. as a result. It's such a fun picture of them that I thought I'd enter it to give a shout out to them for their leadership of our NPO whose mission is to provide affordable quality child care for a diverse community.
