Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Cruz County, At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Cruz County, we are fortunate to provide local youth with affordable swim lessons at our Downtown Clubhouse pool, in the heart of the city. We are also jumping in to a capital project to refresh this space in 2024/2025.

No Time To Waste, We have 19 full time volunteers that perform food recovery 5 days a week from 25 surplus food donors including grocers, restaurants, hospitals, bakeries, delicatessens, and caterers.

Center for Equity Education, Executive Director Colleen A. Schoenfeld of Center for Equity Education partnered up with volunteers and the local Lion's Club for the 71st annual Manchester Chicken Broil. We served over 5000 chicken dinners and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the local community.

Her conversation highlights the critical issues affecting Black mothers face, from the closure of maternity care centers to food insecurity and the barriers posed by transportation and inadequate access to quality care.

Wild Souls Ranch, Wild Souls Ranch is a nonprofit therapeutic equine youth & family services organization serving foster, tribal, and adopted youth, as well as any other youth in our community experiencing challenges. Thanks to a grant from Save the Redwoods League, Wild Souls Ranch was able to partner with the Yurok tribe to get kids and teens out onto the beautiful trails of Redwood National Park on horseback. For some of them, it was their very first time on a horse! Seeing their confidence and smiles grow as they took to the trails under the beautiful redwood trees really made us proud to be part of such a unique partnership.

Women in Games International, WIGI's Get in the Game program enabled ten marginalized people who otherwise couldn’t afford it the opportunity to attend Paris Games Week, a leading gaming industry conference in France. The program covers the cost of a flight, hotel, daily per diem, and full-access conference ticket so participants can focus on impactful networking with industry professionals. We are proud to say that 90% of participants receive an offer for a games industry role within two weeks of the program close, and 100% attribute this to connections made and coaching received during the program.

East Bay Youth Development Foundation Inc. DBA First Tee - Oakland, First Tee – Oakland (FTO), a one-of-a-kind non-profit youth development organization, offers enrichment programs to youth enrolled in Oakland Unified School District after-school programs. Our unique approach involves using golf as a tool to instill life-enhancing values and skills. Oakland Unified is an under-resourced public school district with 84 elementary, middle, and high schools. We served over 215 OUSD students in 2023. We will reach over 250 OUSD students in 2024 and 300 OUSD students in 2025. Our students are 91% youth of color and 50% female. Our program is offered free of cost to all OUSD students.
