This is a short video of our Culinary Arts classroom. Our equipment is old, we don't have proper prep stations, and we are lacking enough equipment and supplies, but as you can see, the students are overcoming these obstacles and are learning how to be flexible, overcome adversity, and make the most out of what we have available at the time...and have fun doing it! We want to turn our program into one that our school and community can be proud of. These amazing students are learning skills that will benefit them and their families at home, as well as give them real-world skills that they will be able to use as they go out into the workplace. They are learning teamwork, responsibility, respect, kitchen and workplace safety, food safety, nutrition, and most of all, how to cook! We are in need of equipment and supplies that will allow us to have a safe, efficient, and successful culinary learning experience. We need your help to make our dream Culinary Arts program happen. This is Ms.C’s first grade class from Roy Gomm Elementary School. We have a technology problem. We are hoping to win so that we can purchase new iPads to use daily during our math and reading centers.

Alyce Taylor Elementary School needs a STEM Lab! A STEM lab would benefit every student in our school, from pre-kindergarten to 5th grade. The lab would be a space used to encourage creativity and innovation among students, it will promote teamwork and collaboration, incorporate the use of technology & 21st century skills, provide students new opportunities to think and work, and improve critical thinking skills. A school-wide STEM lab will help get our students college or career ready!

This video shows some of the broken instruments students have to deal with. We do not have enough instruments for the students who want to participate in band. As a community service, we will go into the community to bring music to the elderly, community groups such as the Masons, and the Chamber of Commerce and any others who would benefit from the joy of music.

Funds will be used to build an interdisciplinary (all content areas) program to include explorations of damaging effects of trash, specifically plastics, to our drinking water, animals, trails, and beaches in order to develop awareness within our community and for the 6 million tourists that visit Lake Tahoe on a yearly basis. Our goal is to place our students in Trash Ambassador positions for the purpose of developing the literature/informational sites of our existing issues to maintain a healthy ecosystem.

Vote for our video and help us win $5000! The Blue Thunder Marching Band needs new field audio, prop frames, amps, and drum heads. This money will allow our growing band program to be competitive with top bands in our region.

Join us on an inspiring journey as we unveil the Senator Inclusion Initiative, a groundbreaking project potentially funded by the Dolan School Project Grant. In this video, we explore the vision, mission, and impact of our initiative, which is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and representation in our school community. Blue Crew will be utilizing this money to create a more positive environment at CHS through lunch time initiatives ranging from new student lunches, games on our brunch break, and incentivizing school attendance.

With the funds, MHMS will host a school and community wide Veteran's Day luncheon to honor men and women who have served for our amazing country. We will continue to support our other community wide activities with Marvin Picollo, Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation, Life Care Center of Reno, CSA (Community Services Agency), The Ormbsy House Senior Living, and much more!

Fernley FFA - Dolan Auto Group Submission

We have a piano lab built from generous grants. But we don't have a budget. So we don't have a way to maintain the lab nor acquire more pianos to allow more students into the class. This donation will allow us to add up to 8 more pianos (that's 8 more students!) to the class.

This video explains OMS students' desire to host more community-based events and how these funds could help us community build and also give back to our community in big ways!

The funds would be used to develop our robotics program. The benefits of robotic are:

improved science, technology, engineering, and math concepts,

team-building skills

improved creative thinking skills

improved social skills

improved problem-solving skills

improved computer programming skills



If we were to get the class funds, we would get more kits, accessories, and team entries for the competition. The funds will also allow us to continue to bring robotics to all our students kinder through 8th. Kinder through 5th grade get robotics for 45 minutes each Friday. Our middle school students participate during their elective time.

The Reed High School Musical Theater program is looking for funds to help with the cost of our 2024 Spring Musical! Musical theater has been a tradition at Reed since 1988. For over 30 years our program has been putting on Broadway style productions. This year we are so excited to be producing the beloved Steven Sondheim musical Into the Woods, but production costs are expensive, and the Dolan Auto Group Class Project Funds would really help to ease that financial burden. The money would be used in purchasing materials for sets, costumes, props, and technical equipment. It takes a village to put on a show of this magnitude and your vote would really help in making our vision come to fruition! Thank you for your consideration!

Third grade students and teachers at Smithridge STEM Academy describe the problems they are facing on their school playground. Invasive goat heads have taken over the playground and have damaged playground equipment and have created a dangerous school environment. Let's work together to solve this problem so students can play on a safe and fun playground.

Galena High School JROTC serves the community year round. Our cadets live by a a Creed and the main goal of our program is to “Motivate young people to be better citizens “. One way we do this is by giving back to the community. Please support these amazing kids. Thank you for all your support.

Our school would use the funds to allow our students to give back to the community through Chords for Kids- a volunteering program that allows our student to give music lessons to underrepresented children.

We are hoping to raise some funding for our soccer program and partnership with a local dojo to train our students. Each will serve as avenues for students to engage fully in a sport/discipline where they can enhance their skills, maintain and build discipline, find purpose and reach their fullest potential. Ms. Cahill's 5th grade class at Coral Academy of Science Elementary - South Campus is entering the Dolan Auto Class Project to earn $5,000 for our Science program. If our classroom wins, the students would like to spend the $5,000 on STEM supplies for science. For example, engineering/coding robots or a 3D printer. With these supplies, students wish to create a STEM club in which the students from the club can teach other students in the school about the engineering/coding robots and possibly a 3D printer. The Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School band is in need of new instruments, specifically tubas and French horns! Many of our instruments are very old, and not worth continuing to repair. Our program is growing, and I would hate to have to turn students away that want to learn how to play instruments because we don't have enough that work!

Fernley High School EMT Program is a new CTE program - We are just getting started and are in need of medical supplies and equipment for our students to train with. This includes backboards and straps, airway supplies, splints and bandages, and most importantly, training manequins for airway management.
