"Sun Conure Parrots in Love" 9x12 Colored pencil on paper. I used only primary colors (red, yellow,blue) plus black and white. They were Faber Castell Polychromos. I also used solvent and colorless blender pencil. I mixed colors in the margins of my paper and used a brush with solvent to pick up the color for some of the subtle glazes.

February Challenge: Between Us What lives in the space between two people, two moments, two ideas? February’s Art Challenge theme is Between Us, an invitation to explore connection in all its forms. This can be closeness or distance, tension or tenderness, what’s shared or what’s left unsaid. It might be physical space, emotional energy, or something entirely symbolic. Whether your work reflects relationships, environments, contrast, or connection, we want to see how you interpret what exists in that in-between space through your art. Create your original piece for this theme and you could be selected to win a $300 eGift Card!

- Must be 18 years or older
- Any kind of art befitting of the monthly challenge category

$800 in Total eGift Card Prizes Awarded Monthly
- First Place = $300 Jerry's eGift Card
- Second Place = $200 Jerry's eGift Card
- Third Place = $100 Jerry's eGift Card
- 8 Honorable Mentions will receive (1) $25 Jerry’s eGift Card each
