We plan on using the money to fund our third annual Podasa. A Posada is a Mexican Christmas celebration. Our Posada involves building a relationship between our Hispanic families, Hispanic traditions, and our school community. We make pinatas with our students to break at the Posada. Families bring in a plethora of foods to share, including pozole, tacos, tamales, flan, champurrado, and ponche. Families also enjoy crafts, face painting, serving food, and even pictures with Santa. Hosting an event such as the Posada is a great way to build relationships with our students, families, stakeholders and community. Help us host this special cultural event this year!
